  • @sethwright Regardless, Mitt is a mormon and the only "charity" that he gives to is the mormon church, which in turn uses the money to say to all mormons that he is the best person ever and should be president.

  • Being from Salt Lake it funny to see national view of us. The reality is completely different tho it's understandable that people associate it with Romney and Mormons- SLC is like an island of reason, intellect, and multiculturalism in a giant red sea of homogeneous Mormon suburbs. SLC's voting records indicate that it's one of the most liberal cities in the country and we elected our last mayor after he promised to "...fight the Mormon culture..."

  • @sethwright how did you get to a computer?

  • There's nothing wrong with pointing out the problems with capitalism. Those who equate capitalism's critics with communists or socialists are like the Moslems who can't handle criticism or even lampoons of their beloved prophet. Capitalism is the best system but it's far from perfect. Problems include income inequality, disempowerment of workers & consumers, and monopolies. The appropriate role of gov't is to try to address these problems. Right wingers call that "government intrusion."

  • @PoetryHound Right wingers don't mind government intrusion, they just don't want it at the federal level. I admit that I am right leaning but I do know the advantages of government involvement. The question is, who is going to control the government? If we allow the states and local government to get involve then they will be kept under control by the locals. When the federal government gets involved we develop a power centralize government we can't control.

  • "Capitalism should not be condemned, since we haven't had capitalism." -Ron Paul.

It's Corporatism that ought to be condemned.

  • 25 people are related to mitt romney.........

  • true say all of you mother fuckers may say you'd help the poor but lets be honest for a minute... none of ya would. we all like takin cheques to the bank

  • Money in your mouth!! epic line!

  • 24 people prefer rich meat in their mouth

  • Bill Maher may be the dumbest cocksucker on TV. He proves it with his groundhog-day show every week. Have Michael Savage on your show pussyman. He'll tear your ignorance a new one, you socialist retard.

  • @karmabites1

Your defective brain amuses me immensely.

  • @karmabites1: its funny how its always the anti-Maher guys who use offensive and primitive language like "retard" and so on. And anyway: you probably cannot even define the word "socialism".

  • Bill Maher is pretty good at the art of utterly destroying lugubrious opponents....maybe he should take on Mitt&Co.

  • 26k would be nice, shoot. I only make about 18k a year, and yes I'm in a lot of debt. But I pay my rent, utilities, bills, and debt, without robbing or otherwise committing crimes to make ends meet.

  • @toxicityrckr

Congratulations, you are just as everyone else.

  • Bill, cough up the blue pill mate. Both Republicans and Democrats are tearing the U.S.A. apart. Readjust your cowardly stance and call out Obama for not even talking about one of your favourite hobbies - marihuana. Piss on the faces of the Republicans as you do it, by all means, but at least stop your blind hypocrisy and support of innocents being gaoled for owning a plant.

  • @ardeet he does call out obama, this is just one 3 minute segment of one episode.

  • @Fritobandito102 I watch his whole show (yes, overall I'm a bit of a fan) and I find that he contorts himself too frequently for my liking to show Obama in a good light (and no, I do not support the goverment growing republicands). He smokes dope (good on him, no problems with that) but supports an administration that is still gaoling hundreds of people a day for possessing a plant. I fear that he has no real principles.

  • @ardeet a lot of it is an act, i agree.

  • Bill who...looks like he is capitalizing on you, using the medial to make money. There's a funny spoof on Gingrich called Frankie reveals secrets.

  • I was just listening to a daddy yankee song in which he spends the entire track singing about his greatness. Im not sure why that appeals to people. Im guessing its because they want to sing the lyrics and imagine themselves living that lifestyle. Its a vicarious fulfillment kind of thing. The funny thing is, later on in the song, he shoots down that fantasy and bitch slaps his listeners by saying "you sing about this life, but i live it". Lol, funny that people pay to be insulted!

  • Ok, just everybody shut up. Look at facts. Romney wants you to think he's just like you. Do you make 23 million a year with only a 14% tax on it? Do you do it because you have millions to invest already? Didn't think so. This guy is trying to hide the fact that he is 1%. It's staring you in the face people.

  • If everybody is special then nobody is.

  • Corporate fascism and capitalism are 2 distinct things. Fascism has more in common with communism than with capitalism. Both fascism and communism require government involvement in the private sector, one controlled by corporations and the other by the government itself. Plus, in both there is a power elite that get all the money, either corporations or government and the military. Capitalism requires no government intrusion. Corporations are impotent. Someone with a big idea can crush them.

  • @surfer53 Yes capitalism requires no government intrusion, and that is why capitalism have never worked before, at least not pure capitalism.

All modern and successful examples of capitalism are under proper regulations, so unlike what the history book try to "teach" us, the world actually runs on socialist-capitalist hybrids. The problem is what balance is workable, and what isn't.

Unfettered capitalism and over regulated capitalism are both failures, the U.S have too little currently.

  • Money runs, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but the chinese are getting rich and richer.

  • Thats hilarious, I love that picture at the end with the white guys with money coming out of every pore ha ha. Now we know where gangster rappers get there philosophy from!

  • What a moron this man is... A sensationalist for the retard level. I get from this that Maher is too greedy to ever give some of his money to a noble start-up venture? And he makes (non)fun of people who actually try to do good things with their money?

  • @jademan3 Says the guy making 2600 dollars a year.

  • At the time I posted this comment 261 people liked this video and 16 disliked it. That is directly proportional to the percentage of Americans who actually know the difference between preferred stock and beef stock. Dear Youtube trogs, if you think that venture capitalism shouldn't exist in America, shut your computers down and go live in the woods, because 90% of the software and sites you use, including Youtube, wouldn't exist. P.S. you're all retards.

  • Bill Maher just showed he doesn't even know what venture capitalism or private equity is. He is saying Romney is a venture capitalist, which he was not. He was in private equity. And venture capitalists don't "prey on the week" they find new companies and invest in them in hopes that they become profitable; e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc. He is referring to private equity with his "prey on the week" comment, but he clearly doesn't understand how PE firms make profits.

  • @cjdean9 regardless Romney is a lying piece o shit, as soon as people learn about the 'doctrine' he is so proud of and the pedophilia, anti black racism, historical distortions and downright bizarre nature of Mormonism he will be destroyed. Lets just hope he doesn't get the nomination, Obama would jizz in his pants at such an easy target

  • @edspacely92

all the gopbags are easy targets

  • @cjdean9: Mate, let me tell you: I worked for an international law firm for a while and we had a lot to do with guys like Mitt "investing" in companies. I could observe first hand what they do: they buy companies that are momentarily in dire straits, fire as many people as they can and then they sell off the good parts of the company. They dont give a flying fuck about what happens to the people working in those companies. And yes: thats not "venture capital" but its what Mitt did.

  • @hoplite669 I agree that streamlining the acquired companies often entails major layoffs , but it is quite possible that Mitt was among the minority of high financiers who had character. In "the Real Romney" (neutral) you see that he often turned down deals that would be perceived as cutthroat. This guy has character. He has been faithful to his wife through MS and cancer. How many multimillionaire PE execs did you see that would have done that? How many that give almost 40% to charity??

  • @cjdean9 40% between charity and taxes

  • I won't to be a venture capitalist =(

  • If Americans think George W. Bush made the 1% richer at the expense of the 99%, wait until Myth Rob-Me gets a crack at it. He will use typical CEO mentality to accelerate the already historic wealth gap in the U.S. even more.

  • Billy Maher, the shallowest, least informed of all the talking heads. How does someone this stupid get and keep a show on TV? Oh yeah, HBO supports Communism....

  • @karmabites1 its quite easy to pick a word out of the infinitesimal to say what Bill Maher is Not... Simply because he does not openly support Capitalism doesn't make him a supporter of Communism. There are other ways of doing business if you used your freaking brain just once in a while!!

  • @executableapplet Of course he supports capitalism; he's a MILLIONAIRE!

Difference between him & the average retarded CON is, he UNDERSTANDS how capitalism works: and it works BEST when a small number become very rich, while the REST MERELY just dream about it.

It is NOT POSSIBLE --- monetarily, economically, or any other way --- for everyone to be a millionaire! Who the fuck is going to do the hard work, the dirty work?

  • What Bill Maher is saying --- and he is, true enough, NOT as bright as, say, Thorstein Veblen --- is: HE understands capitalism; HE understands Romney UNDERSTANDS capitalism.... but that Romney is WILLING TO LIE to the dumb masses, to get them to vote for him, KNOWING that they are TOO DUMB to take apart his *argument* ("vote for me and YOU TOO could be rich like I am...").

People are just TOO STUPID, as Bill Maher said, to understand that TRUTH, that IMPOSSIBILITY!

  • @HenryDavidT apart from what things already are, what should be is a commonwealth among citizens of the world. people should be able to do any job needed and be as knowledgeable in any particular field they would be most helpful. keeping the mass majorities dumb and overwhelmed with dreams, yet given no real alternatives to hard/soft labor, is quite primitive and is a scheme that's been used for thousands of years by sovereigns. it's time for that cycle to break.

  • @HenryDavidT the education system sucks. economy's bloated. nations owe more money than exists on the planet. people are becoming incredibly stupid/foolish. the media brainwashes the masses. the problem lies well outside of just one man, yet the fact we obsess over his individual competence versus finding a solution that will enact some sort of balance between the rich and poor. rich become a bit less. the poor become a tad bit wealthier. how can that hurt?

  • @executableapplet How? Please explain how else to do business? Please, enlighten us on how else you convince people with money to invest it in risky startups or companies on the verge of bankruptcy? Please, with that brilliant "freaking brain" of yours, elaborate on how to replace the free market solution to high-risk endeavors that has grown into what we know as venture capitalism. I'm waiting.

  • @karmabites1 It's not the Bill Maher.

The problem is your HEAD is too small... and in IT.... with very ltitle of the denser grey matter that has more than average neuron connectivity.... which is what's required to understanding what Maher's saying...

So, you scream, like the typical Conservative retard: "Just kil' all Librals and their communist friends. And, yep, those Islamists, too. Just git rid of them and bring God back into our lives and everythaing will be fine agin."

  • @karmabites1

    that isn't even an argument.

  • bill is such a hypocrite

  • There is a virus at some of these Maher sites.

  • bill maher actually is pretty cool.

  • Jeniffer Granholm is an ultraMILF.

  • The audience does way too much clapping... like seals clapping for chum at his every statement.

  • Rich is Bill Maher.

  • @WonderBread006 Yeah hes rich but theres nothing worng with being rich alsong as you know that there is a responsibility attached to it. I think he really cares about the plight of poor people and the despicable way rich people behave. Half the problems in the world today I think are caused by rich peoples lack of humanity and Im glad he keeps reminding people of that.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • How bout you Bill? Are you rich, you hypocrite!

  • Fuck Bill Maher? What's with that shit about 'I SUPPORT SOPA CUZ PPL DOWNLOADED MY DOCU-COMEDY ARGHHHHHHHH'

  • "What?? We found a wounded animal and we ate it!" ROTFLMAO!!!!!

  • Mitt Romney is pond scum.

  • if i ever run into bill maher i will beat his ass. he is rich and he got rich from all of you so if you want to be rich all you need to do is be a dumb ass and go on tv

  • @MrGuitarman1968 If I ever run into you, I'm going to bitch-slap you across the room. It's suck-ups to the rich like you who are responsible for the Repigs we have in office.

  • @MrGuitarman1968 Bill Maher is nowhere near as rich as Mitt Romney, so it's not like he's being a hypocrite or anything..

  • don't hate the playa, hate the game. Romney and rappers whodathought

  • kinda negates his whole argument when he wifed up one of the most notorious 'video vixen's' that was in all them hot tubs with jay-z in music videos

  • Ohhhhh the irony

  • his nose is not unlike a flaccid penis

  • //i1199.photobucket[DOT]com/albums/aa468/tommyObrien/RomneyALLEYESONME.jpg

I made this when I first heard this story

  • Maher is right, but he's using incorrect terms. Crony capitalism (or corporatism) and real capitalism are 2 different things. Corporations lobbying the government to screw the little guy while they get involved in risky and unethical ventures backed by the government is not capitalism.

  • this is so dishonest - Venture Capitalist try to make companies profit and succeed

  • Why does Bill Maher think hes so much better then Mit Romney? If anything, Mitt Romney is probably a way nicer guy than Bill Maher considering that Bill Maher ridicules anything that he doessn't agree with, could only get HBO to sign him, and comes off as a total douche bag

  • @gatorboy530 yea...dumbass republican you would believe that lol

  • obama is a puppet chosed by the same people who'll chose romney

  • Excellent commentary by Bill Maher. Totally PWNED Mitt Romney!!!

  • NEW RULES: if heaven exist, Bill MAHER will be the first wealthy man to be accepted for his honesty. just like mitt romney, Real Time preys on liberals by (1) Using the opening monologue to identifying with and wake up his struggling audience like mitt did bain (2) the round table discussions to determine how to improve the company while making money like romney (3) and lastly, create a set of new rules to leave the company that masquerading your greed as unconscious ignorance and comedy.

  • Fuck Bill Maher.

  • @jdoubledisco

    fuck you

  • @jdoubledisco notice there are no likes :)

  • Fuck Mitt Romney

  • @23ephlax notice the likes :)

  • A rounding error?! LOL Hilarious! =)

  • Bill Maher=douche bag

  • have money in my mouth

  • All I know is Mitt Romney is good looking.

  • Ron Paul Rules

  • What Bill forgets to add is that America's $26,000 median income is the highest in the world.

  • @vigorousAtheist What you forget is that in other OECD countries that median income doesn't have to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses and college education. You tend to not go bankrupt from a back injury in need of treatment in other places. Also in 2007 the median income was $31,100, according to Wikipedia. That's quite the drop if either number is true...

  • @OolTube02

And what YOU'RE forgetting is that in those other western countries that get free healthcare, they usually pay much higher taxes than us. Also, their surgery waiting times are horrendous.

We also have by far the highest ranking hospitals in the world, as well as universities.

And that 2007 number for income is talking about HOUSEHOLD income, which is far different than personal income.

  • @vigorousAtheist The only reason someone wouldn't have to wait for surgery is because they're rich, being able to cut in line in front of a poor guy. That means waiting time is reduced at the expense of the poor schmuck making only $26,000 a year, who dies instead, or at least has their condition deteriorate.

If I ever become wealthy I might move to the US one day. But while I'm not I think I wouldn't be doing myself any favors going. It seems to be survival of the richest...

  • @OolTube02

"The only reason someone wouldn't have to wait for surgery is because they're rich"

What absolute nonsense. First off, if you're poor in this country (at least in my state) you get close to free healthcare. It's the middle class that is stuck with the bills.

And if you're NOT rich and you have to have emergency surgery, they do NOT turn you down, you will just be stuck with the bill. You clearly don't know anything about the healthcare system.

  • @vigorousAtheist And how many people don't go for regular checkups because they know they'll be stuck with the bill, meaning heart defects or cancers are overlooked at an early stage, when they would be cheaply treatable? And only when an illness becomes an expensive emergency will they seek help?

You're talking about waiting lists you have heard from in your propaganda. I can tell you one thing. Our emergency rooms aren't overflowing with people using it for general practitioner's care...

  • @OolTube02

iI know a lot of poor people. When they go to the doctor for regular check ups (which are like $10) if the doctor has any suspicions, or even if the patient wants a professional check up, they can get it close to free. Look up MAP in texas is. You can go to the hospital, stay there for a year, and only pay a total of $30.

But micheal moore would never want you to hear that now would he?

It's a FACT that the uk's waiting times are MUCH higher than the US

  • @vigorousAtheist Have you ever met a Brit who wants to replace their health insurance system with the American one?

To be sure, I've heard that the British system is the worst in all of Europe. So it's curious that of all the countries you could compare yourselves with you only ever mention the Brits. Why never Germany or France?

Still, I've never heard even a Brit yearn for the US system. If your heads weren't so stuck up your asses that would be food for thought...

  • @OolTube02

Why would a british person want to change their healthcare system, to a capatalistic one? They're socialist. Of course they wouldn't want to change.

And why do diplomats and foreign leaders BEG us to allow them entry so that they can use our hospitals?

Look up "Yemeni president". That's just one example.

And all throughout europe, they have monstrous waiting times, it's not just the US.

This is what happens when you have socialized medical care.

  • @vigorousAtheist Yes, so Reagan lost the Cold War and when the Wall fell socialism swept across Western Europe instead of capitalism over the East. At what point did they just give up teaching you history at school over there, I wonder...

Even if it were true that you treat foreigners with money or covered by their health insurance before you treat your own poor, isn't that even a worse indictment of your system? No compassion for your neighbor, no patriotism, only greed...

  • @OolTube02

First off, communism and socialism are two totally different things. Sorry that you didn't know that. Are you trying to imply that western europe ISN'T socialist? Cause you would have one heck of a job.

"before you treat your own poor"

MY GOD. i have already debunked this. Please stop spewing lies.

  • @vigorousAtheist No, Europe isn't socialist. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was socialist. The East German Socialist Unity Party was socialist. But that didn't really work out, so they gave it up. Socialism is a bad word in Europe -- rightfully so.

This is exactly why your ignorant propaganda, painting Europe as some kind of throwback to Soviet style economic mismanagement is so outrageous. In a way it's as amusing as when the Soviets labeled everyone fascists.

  • @OolTube02

So government-funded medicine, government-funded university, government-funded news programs and very high tax rates makes you not socialist? WOW.

  • @vigorousAtheist No, a government-funded social safety net does not make a country socialist. Just as capitalist elements do not make a country fascist.

This is your problem. You have lost all sense of degree. The Russians were still fighting World War II, long after fascism was defeated. And you are still fighting the Cold War, long after socialism is dead, investing too much in a military while neglecting your economy and infrastructure -- just like the Soviet Union...

  • Comment removed

  • @vigorousAtheist What I can compare is delusional social models such as "real socialism" of the USSR and "supply-side economics" of the USA -- both held on to long after they've been proven not to work.

Spending 5% of the GDP on the military is okay from a Keynesian perspective, but not if you spend less than 2.5% GDP on infrastructure at home. That's what made the Soviet Union fall.

Do things have to deteriorate to "Grapes of Wrath" conditions before you turn around...?

  • @OolTube02

Lol still you cannot compare the spending of the soviet union to the spending of the US.

You have yet to make a logical comparison.

  • @OolTube02 Yup, pretty much, it's a balancing act, a laissez-faire capitalistic society is doomed to failure jsut as much as communist state is doomed to failure (people wrongly assumes communism is about making everyone equal, rather than it's intent which is that workers own the means of production preventing what arises in capitalism oligarchies). The fact is any nation which wants to succeed has to encompass both socialistic and individualistic ideas.

  • @OolTube02 You have great intentions and points, but let me edit some things. Most of europe is socialist and doing GREAT. All socialism means is the government regulates a little more and taxes are higher to pay for things, but then the benefits come such as free medical care and higher education. This is KIND OF what you said, but i thought I'd edit :)

  • @deathball751 Stop comparing the US to European countries. We have states with more population then some of those countries. The US is the only country with a melting pot. No other country has our resources, our income, climate differences, population, liveable land, etc. We are so different from every other country that we can't be compared. Socialism works in European countries, great. It won't work in the US.

  • @vigorousAtheist umm, you're an ignorant. lying Repiglicking asshole

  • @oneirishpoet

lol is somebody mad? What am i lying about child?

  • @vigorousAtheist well little boy, pretty much everything spewed from your ignorant orifice is a fucking lie, moron...now go vigorously play with your tiny penis and leave the real thinking for the adults in the room, asshole..also, too

  • @oneirishpoet

Please list everything that i've said that was a lie, so that i can send you sources and links.

    Thanks ;)

  • @vigorousAtheist But America is one of the most expensive places to live, gas, food, insurance are you kidding me, get real 26,000 thousand in the usa is peanuts.

  • @space4099

WOW your comment just SCREAMS ignorance. Do you have any idea how much cheaper gas and food is in the US compared to other western countries?

The US has nearly the lowest costs of living in the western world. This shows how little you know about these subjects

  • @vigorousAtheist so an absurd income gap is ok because we're better than bolivia? we also have the largest economy...

  • @vigorousAtheist It's not the highest, and what you fail to see is that the other countries who are very near to us also have universal health care, universal college education, and a much more complete social safety net than the US.

They also carry far less debt on average than we do.

Your argument is silly, and it makes me sad that a fellow atheist can avoid delusion on on issue, but embraces it in another. That's not the rational skepticism I admire.

  • @MrOttopants

Yes it is the highest. We have the highest average personal income AND the highest average household income. We also have the highest average wages.

And the US has the highest ranking hospitals and universities, so obviously ours would cost more.

The countries that get all of this free stuff pay more in TAXES.

Oh, and the US has a much lower % of debt than most western countries.

    The more you know ;)

  • @vigorousAtheist It does no good for this country to have the highest and the best when no one can afford it except the wealthy. Yes, those countries pay more in taxes, BUT they also get free education, free health care and they get to keep MORE OF THEIR MONEY than Americans do because all of our money is going to student loans and health care costs. The American economic system is a ponzi scheme, only the 1% can afford to survive here.

  • @nike2422

    Continued-

Again, you're completely wrong. The US has the highest average DISPOSABLE income, meaning AFTER we pay for school, healthcare, etc. You have no excuses.

Only the 1% can survive here? LOL we have one of the lowest costs of living in the western world. Go to a western european country and shop, then come to America and shop, THEN tell me if it's hard to live here. In lots of places in the western world gas is almost $10 a gallon.

  • @nike2422 I make very little and I am surving quit fine. I know how to live within my means and not be greedy.

  • @nike2422 You are partly right. You know, but science must be inaccessible to most only most determined must study. That is the point. In Sweden it creates problems like "lifetime" students, where people just sitting in various students learning sth 1-2 years and changing speciality, because of "Fuck that" factor. And that continues 10 years or more.

  • So true! Utah is the scam capital of the world. Come here and people scam the hell out of people over the phone tricking them into buying coaching, workshops, seminars, and any get rich quick scheme you can think of. Mormons are the best at that.... especially after serving two years convincing people that Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ.

  • @beau4307 -- yes, and you notice that MLM-type "jobs" flourish the most in right-to-work states? Another reason to defeat RTW-- we're tired of these glorified door-to-door- salesman jobs. We tired of the pressure to make every job a "mission". We want a good living AND the freedom to define professionalism on our own terms.

  • Sometimes unproductive companies have to be shut down and jobs cut, so the resources can be relocated to productive companies that can actually grow. That's the only way you get a NET increase in wealth and jobs.

Forcing poorly performing companies to stay alive hurts everybody else, and is unsustainable.

  • @hussman110 --there's a big difference between "poorly performing", and cannibalizing a company because it only turns a 10 percent profit rather than a 20 percent profit.

  • @PaninaroAurora That is completely relative. Why would anyone with stake in a company "canabalize" it if its turning in a 10% (or any %) profit? They would only do so if there is an alternate investment which is turning in a higher profit i.e. is more productive.

This alternate company would have better use for those resources, and in a sense 'deserves' that investment.

  • @hussman110 Yes, that makes perfect sense. Why would you stab a person to death in a back alley for only $200 in their pocket? They could make so much money if you let them live. So all you have to do is stick around and have them voluntarily give up money every month for you. I'm sure they will agree for that out of gratefulness for your not having stabbed them and not sick the dogs on you.

Seriously? You can't see how short-term self interest sometimes leads to predation...?

  • @OolTube02 Your analogy is completely off. The equity firm has paid for (i.e. it OWNS) the company in question. You can't just give $100 dollars one day and then magically get $200 the next day. The extra money has to come from SOMEWHERE. The so called "prey" (the one who gives up the second $100) is usually a bank or other equity investor who also CHOSE to invest in the company.

I'm not denying that greed and ambition can lead to fraud/theft, but that is not what Bill Maher was talking about.

  • Like Bill Maher has to worry about paying his bills? He has a net worth of about $20 million.

  • @MrAdvancedAtheist

So you're saying because Maher's loaded, (without destroying a single company or job), he can't be 100% correct?

  • Mmmmmmmmmm money in mouth.

  • Greed is good the catch cry of the 80's.

  • @downunderdemocrat America hasn't been an honest country since JFK was shot. He was the last real president who tried to stand up for the truth. He died trying to pass an executive order to end the Fed. Crony capitalism of the 80s created the illusion of prosperity, but it was based on debt to big banks.

  • @surfer53 very true

  • @downunderdemocrat greed is natural. rich people don't deny it. Bankers were telling te government for decades greed is their weakness and they should be monitored but the government didn't really do it's job didn't it?

  • @kotapaka Politicians can be greedy as well. Who is going to control the politicians?

  • @whyamimrpink78 They pretty much control themselves. If you haven't noticed they follow and expose each other's steps. If anyone does anything wrong it's going to surface and consequences will follow: either jail, or the party is going to let him go (ending his political career) etc.

  • Why is Granholm there she help collapse Michigan

  • @mrpoghunter yeah,it was totally her and not auto execs who cared more about short term profits than long term stability.

  • @osp80 -- the sad part is, the Bains of the world have made it so everyone on Wall Street HAS to only care about short-term profit. They turned the entire culture so some decent people who went to work for Wall Street literally had NO CHOICE but to act like Gordon Gekko, if they wanted to keep their careers going.

  • @PaninaroAurora who, acre about build quality in the 80's and 90's we can coast off our reputation for years! keep cranking out those SUV,don't worry about making cars better! wait, people stopped buy our cars and gas went to $4/gal.???!!!

  • Both of you clowns seemed to miss his point entirely.

  • the bad part is not about being rich you dumbass commenters below me

its how you got rich....and what you do with this wealth

mitt romney got rich feeding on a broken system and putting americans out of work

he then uses his wealth....to hide from paying taxes by storing most of his money in the cayman islands and paying the minimum under 15% on his last years tax return
