I ran a carburated engine with only HHO for 3 seconds before it stalled. I guess you need a 40-60 litre/per minute HHO generation rate to fully run a car. That calls in for overunity, which can be acheive using sharp 2000V pulse @ 48KHz using IGBT high voltage transistors.
if you have chance to buy titanium as neg and stanless as positive.. you will be very very please wt the result.. but use only potassium hydroxide or sodium sulfate as electrolyte and use clean distill water
UM, Hay dude....Its not the water! Its the steel that you'r useing. Its GOT to 316 grade stainless steel. If you put salt in the water. It's a bad idea! You will get hydrocloric Acid. If you use copper plates, bad idea! You will make copper oxide, or green scum. Every different metal you use puts something different into the water. So be carefull would yah!!!???
Try wrapping electrical tape around outside edges of plates so they are not exposed to the water. Make cuts in tape at either end for water to get in and out. Use distilled water and baking soda and you will be amazed at the improvement in less amp draw, cleaner cell function and better performance.
Neutral plates produce gas from leaching electricity from your water.Use distilled water and 100% lye which is sodium hydroxide. PLz Go to Smack University and watch all his videos you all will learn a thing or 2.
are you using stainless steel? cuase i thought it was stainless, plz tell me if it is stainless steel, and if it is i sugest you using hydrocloric acid on then, just soak them in water concentrated with it
I heard from a pretty reliable source that if you don't use a nuetral element, then there is a possibility of the hydrogen and oxygen combining back into water again.
Get a PWM to help reduce the volts going into the cell as it gets hot. It will help adjust it. We have them available on E-Bay and our website for less than most sellers. kevlau.(com).PWM is the site.
I've subscribed to your channel, you're the first person that I've seen that has put this on a vehicle that has the same computer and sensors as mine, therefore I'm VERY interested in your performance.
keep up the good work, the brown crap is from the plastic container or spacers. Also 2 neutrals will work better if the water your using is from a stream no electrolyte :)
everything in my cell is 100% 316 ( non magnetic ) stainless no zinc at all i ran the cell since then in vinegar/ rainwater and it clenaed up nice. the green was algae , i know cause i filtered it out after the video was shot. my tap water i dont get algae since my town puts algaecide in it
ya they are toughf all right guess thats why they were the first living organisms on earth, any ways i gained 3.5mpg with no efie or pwm i plan to build an efie soon. 3.5 doesnt sound like much but i normally get 10mpg so almost 14 is a dream to me...lol
yeah, would have to agree ... if you are used to 10mpg, 14mpg is a pretty good improvment ... seems most of the guys with larger engines are reporting the best results ... the guys with the itty bitty peddle cars dont seem to do as well ... but then I guess on the bigguns, there is just a lot more room for improvment ...
ok, thanks for the feedback ... good luck to you ... hope when you get your efie gizmo in there you will let us know if it made a difference for you ...
Everything in your cell IS NOT 100% stainless steal. Have a look at your connection wires. Those aren't stainless. Those wires may be where the green is coming from. Copper turns green. Are your wires corroded?
if you keep it out of the light with a barrier algae will not grow. there needs to be water, nutrient to feed and light. remove the sunlight..
might not be algae. id check it under a microscope.

The right 316 grade stainless steel causes NO corrosion. It is corrosion, and NOT algae. Listen to Scarecrow, He is right.

man you need distilled and that color is iron from plates, what grade S.S. is that? mostly comes from the nuts since there lower grade material

dunk it in some coca cola for a bit. see what happens

Dude just use filtered water, i hope you are using stainless steel sheets, cause i looks to me rusty, so i guess is regular metal

What's up with the neutral plate? surely that can't do anything but increase conductivity...

Why is it that you need nuetral plates? I just use positive and negative and am generating good gas.
cbl1960 3 years ago
I think it reduces the amp usage, but gives higher results.

Go with what you think, because I'm not sure.
Mekill60 3 years ago
Somebody told me they burn out pretty quick,
but what i wanna do,is to build 4small cells,
and use 4drill pwm`s,that should also work..
Keep the amps as low as the drill motor asks
for....that would still be cheap in my opinion!!
grtzzz...
THEOUTSIDE 3 years ago
i don`t know if you allready know, just trying to spread the info, but it seems you can find a 12volt pwm circuit,in a 12volt cordless drill!!!
for 25$ a pulse width modulator+free battery and a motor,LOL!!!!!
peace....
THEOUTSIDE 3 years ago
really? how many amps could it handel?
maxpineapple 3 years ago
My HHO generator is ran directly off the battery, it uses too much voltage/amps...how can I lower the Amp usage to around 10 to 20 Amps...Kevin

I don't use neutral plates, could that be why I use so much voltage/Amps?

get some oxalic acid and run it in about a teaspoon to a liter-it will come up shiny and new-cheap CLR for you scarecrow ;]
m3sca1 3 years ago
Sorry, but you looks like you are going to have to disassemble and clean it up probably with CLR to get that crud off.
Algae? Are you sure? Am surprised the little buggers could survive in the reaction.
Your green may be from zinc plated screws and/or copper in the soup. Did you notice corrosion on your contact points and screws?
As a rule you want to be carefull about mixing metals in the soup. Best to keep it all stainless steel either 304 or 316 grade.

them is some tough little critters ... had no idea they could survive in that environment ...
normally when someone has that much gunk in their gadget, I just assume they mixed their metals and made a sludge puddle ...
guess you managed to get your gadget cleaned up and back together ... do you have any mileage improvments to report ???
