  • Who would that be put out by? Sounds great!

  • @GPHnMobile It'll be put out by the National Braille Press.

  • Oh but I wish I could wait. My phone died about a week ago... I went in to get a new one... had to settle for a cheesy temporary phone...and now...I only have 30 days to either keep it or swap it out. Ugh...the pressure is on. My decision/ financial investment is gonna have to happen really soon :( Not familiar with the Braille Wizard. What's that all about?

  • @GPHnMobile Android in a braille keyboard with 20 cells of braille, GPS, WiFi, 32 GB of storage, GSM, Bluetooth, a camera, pretty much everything you want.

  • Are the Android "incredible" or "Droid 2" accessible yet? Or do I still need a tactile keyboard? Haven't heard an update on this in a while. Advice? Thanks! :)

  • @GPHnMobile Droid 2 should be, not sure about the incredible. I'd just wait for the Braille Wizard.

  • Hey, been checking out the Androids but not sure which one is workable for someone with sight problems. I've done some research but seems like there's no extra current info out there. The lines of communication have gone quiet. I'm really diggin' the "Incredible" and the "Droid X" phone. Are the Eyes-Free apps accessible for these phones? Do I still need a tactile keyboard?

  • do u know if there r any cheaper cell phone services and plans without the touch screen r accessible? such as the LG runor 2 on the virgin mobile network?

  • @nightwatcher3344 On Verizon, there's the Samsung Haven.

  • Oh I'm pretty sure that there will be a way around that, or else why would there be all that talk about it that I've been reading.

  • Hey man have you heard of eyes-free android. Check my channel I'm subscribed to it there are some videos of this.

  • I subscribed to it too, it looks like we may not need to wait for an Android screen reader after all, though I'm disappointed that only experienced Linux users can get it going (since it looks like you have to go in and compile it).

  • So your saying the Droid is about as much as a mac book Pro?

  • No, the LevelStar Icon is. I think you missed something. The DROID is $199 on contract. The LevelStar Icon is $1,395.

  • ahh! Thanks
