Nothing make any sense, if Fettel has possessed Foxtrot 813 as a new body and reborn, why in the hell did the developer says he is a ghost whispering in pointmans ear. If monolith collaborated with Day 1 Studio, then it should suppose to have connection to the fear story. They stated the 3rd game takes place 9 months later. Fettel isn't here to help the pointman, he's only here to take revenge on Alma for using as a tool just to release her. Since Almas father released her, she has no use him.

Didn't F.E.A.R use to be about very genuine surreal horror? What's with the cheezy FMV's and voice acting? The game could very well be awesome, but as far as the scare factor goes, this trailer makes it seem so corny and overblown.

Its just that FEAR2 did not have enough scary elements as FEAR1, which helps immerse the player into the game. Fear 2 was nice, but not as good as Fear 1 was, neither does it have the same feel (silent awkwardness)

Hmm... I liked the way fear2 was, with the dark creepy kind of thing and all that with a little action added here and there. The graphics were top notch as well. I hope this one turns up about the same (Especially graphic and game play wise). The story line/plot to Fear is something I could see a movie being made out of if done properly and if this one comes out as something that could do the same then I'll approve. But my opinion is scattered so I dunno...

As the trailers have already shown, Point Man along with Fettel want to stop Alma from giving birth to this new "Super-psychic" baby, which would be worse than Alma, Point Man and Fettel combined. And given that Alma is dead, the baby would be a living Psychic entity - pretty much a god that cant be killed.

@KaminaDragon Pointman never could control time. He has superhuman reflexes - he can still use his slowmo ability. In game, this means the player who will play as Point Man will move extremely fast/seem like a blur to the other co-op player. This could easily be seen in FEAR 2 in the final battle.

Actually, if the Point Man activates Slow Mo then Fettel will also move super-fast. But only the PM can activate Slow Mo. ;)

@Psquit I've played FEAR 1. Its his reflexes - hence why his commanding officer and FEAR operator comments on his reflexes being off the charts.

Same with Michael Beckett in FEAR 2, who had the same abilities as the point man due to an experiment. It enabled him to see the dead/ghosts and evil spirits, and enabled him to move at incredible speeds. To him (and the Point Man), the world slows down but to normal people he's moving incredibly fast.
