  • Looks like a Big Crowd !

But a Bigger crowd took them Down !!

  • This video is featured on the Communists of Illinois website. Is it any wonder? I wonder how many union members know that they are tools for communism in America?

  • WI Local 2721 stands in support lets defeat this bill and the bought out Kock brother governor Scott Walker. Solidarity forever!!

  • just a bunch of trash

  • Also:

If you want to take more of other people's money, you're just a worker fighting for your rights.

If you want to keep more of your own money, you're greedy and evil.

  • Groups of middle-class workers getting together to protest reductions in their taxpayer-funded salaries: Good

Groups of middle-class workers getting together to protest over-spending and inflation: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!

  • Any average American who votes for rebubblebuttlicans are just plain crazy.

  • How come there's always enough money for war ($3 trillion since 2001) and Israel ($8 million a day) but not enough money for public employees pay?

  • @3rosesred Ahhh! Spoken just like your Heroes Joseph Stalin & Mao Tse-tung. If they disagree with Communists, then they must be nuts. So, of course we MUST put them into re-education camps until they get their minds 'right'. If you could just grow a few more brain cells you might be able to read some history lessons.

  • @3rosesred "and to render the very thought of Republicanism illegal. "

You're a real supporter of the constitution all right. Don't you have a Nazi propagandist to blow?

  • Grow up and prove what you're worth as an individual like everybody else has to. I'm the tax payer, that means I'M THE BOSS and I say get your punk asses back to work.

  • Egocentricity:

The vainglory of the Union label illuminate by the “Wisconsin Syndrome.” These acts of prophetic self regard, as if humanities continued existence bears on as a burden of worldly supreme importance intellectualized by anarchical disdain towards the differing. A syndrome corrupted by the company it keeps, which is not against anyone, but merely angrily and vilely for themselves, as long as the price paid for their self regard, is not theirs equally to bear.

  • I proudly stood up today for the American worker in San Bernardino, CA!!!

  • These unions are nuts. First off Walker had NO CHOICE but to stop the socialist style collective bargaining. There is in fact a budget crisis.

Gov. Doyle used 2.7 billion in Obama's stimulus package money to fill in the deficit instead of doing anything about the problem

The stimulus money is used up. Its either cut this socialist collective bargaining or fire thousands of teachers.

    Stop being selfish .

  • Scott Walker said exactly what he was going to do and the people of Wis. voted for him. Where's the problem?

  • @3rosesred Please write back if you ever grow enough brain cells to carry on a logical discussion.

  • @Scuba1Diver

For a second there, I could have sworn that idiot thinks REPUBLICANS are the ones trying to destroy the constitution. That protects property rights, like keeping my hard earned money, and not having it redistributed to democrat money laundering scams like public service Unions.

  • @3rosesred - Such a thoughtful & reasoned response. It it so obvious that you are truly concerned about the well being of the country & state. Your concern for the taxpayers is truly touching. I can see now that I have totally misjudged you & your motives. I thought that you were just a self centered, brainwashed, union thug. How could I have misjudged your good intentions? Please forgive me... (ROTF-LMAO)

  • You commie-pinko leftists will not win this battle

  • @3rosesred "Walker should be in jail for being in contempt of court" Has their even been a contempt motion filed? And you want him in jail? Who's the little Dictator now? Walker breaks no laws, violates no court orders, but YOU want him in jail because YOU don't like his actions. That is Exactly how Dictators work. The rest of us work within the law & the courts. God Bless Gov. Walker

  • How about we tax G.E.? They just bade 5 Billion dollars & pay Zero taxes on it. Oh wait, we can't do that! They support Democrats! NBC MSNBC constantly offer 1 sided news coverage favorable to corrupt Democrats. Who owns those networks? G.E.! Who's Best Buds Forever with Pharaoh Obama? Jeffrey R. Immelt, the CEO of G.E. Who gets waivers from that God Awful Obamacare, anyone who supports Democrats, that's who. This video is about Government workers & their ability to negotiate with friendly Dems

  • Unions put people to work? Are you nuts? Unions suck the life blood out of industry & jobs! The vast majority of industries got nothing in the way of bailouts. Those that did had extremely cozy relationships with Government. The banks were bailed out by the same idiots who forced them to make loans to people who could never qualify for loans. GM got bailed out to help the Union thugs who funnel money extorted from industry to the Democrat Party! You Commies really Hate profits, don't you?

  • @Scuba1Diver You know how the law states that you get paid overtime? Or how they are required to allow you a lunch break? Or vacation pay? You have unions to thank for fighting for those so that every worker could be entitled to them!

  • @GrowTheTruth I know full well all the great things that Unions have done in the past. I would hate to think what my life would have been like without the U.R.W. But by the time that that Union was gobbled up those greedy bastards at the U.S.W.A. the Unions & the Democrats had perfected the raping of members, taxpayers, & corporations. Power corrupts & absolute power corrupts Absolutely. These greedy bastards have WAY too much power right now. This Governor's plan is a Great thing!

  • @Scuba1Diver You and I completely disagree on that, but whatever.

  • @GrowTheTruth And this new law does absolutely NOTHING to change any of those things

  • @Scuba1Diver No, but the new law undermines those who fought for those things for you using the bargaining rights that this new law is now trying to limit!

Get with the program! They're trying to limit the union's abilities to bargain!

  • @GrowTheTruth There have always been "limits" on Unions ability to bargain. Public safety concerns made it illegal for PATCO to strike. In some instances a "Cooling Off" period can be ordered. Union thugs are not allowed to hold hostages at gun point. There have ALWAYS been limits. The question is "What are the proper limits?" Normally if a Union demands too much the Industry goes bankrupt. Governments generally cant do that. So how does society limit Union greed when dealing with taxpayers $ ?

  • @Scuba1Diver I do not deny that unions can be greedy! The key is in making the public aware of just what the unions are asking for & letting the public decide whether or not they feel like putting their tax money towards such demands.

The government can only do so much & I don't believe that the government should be the final say in where public money goes! The public should have a say too! Yet, I feel that trampling all over the union's collective bargaining rights altogether is just wrong.

  • @GrowTheTruth That's the point! The public made a decision. Those decisions are called Elections. The voters overwhelmingly voted to stop being raped by these public sector unions. Why are you unable to accept the will of the voters? Should your side get to be the Dictators overruling the will of the people?

  • @Scuba1Diver Because, right now...most of the voters do not want to take away the collective bargaining rights of unions!

Nobody is talking about overruling people! We're talking about what's fair! You might not like what unions ask for and the citizens have every right to say, "no, we don't agree with you getting what you're demanding" but the unions should still have the right to bargain!

  • @GrowTheTruth This bill does NOT "take away the collective bargaining rights of unions!" It limits them.

This would mean, among other things, that unions wouldn't be able to seek pay increases above inflation, unless voters approve those hikes in a special referendum. You said that the voters should decide... well It's In the Bill! Read it!

  • @3rosesred I understand far more than you give me credit for. Democrat politicians and union thugs have worked hand in hand to fleece the taxpayers for decades. Unions demand expensive contracts. Democrats give in to them. Unions collect a percentage of these wages & benefits & funnel them directly back to Democrat politicians. The ones getting their eyes screwed out are the taxpayers.

  • What a deceitful video. These over paid & under worked union thugs make twice as much as the people who are actually paying their wages. Is it really too much to ask you to pay a small percentage of your insurance & pension payments? You are Pigs. By "politically difficult decisions" you mean keep raising taxes. This USW local 878L union retiree thinks your greed knows no bounds.

  • Love this video and especially, that is my governor Martin O'Malley appearing in this video. Thank you Mr. O'Malley.

  • How can people keep deceiving themselves thinking there is a vote when the results announced are that of a machine programmed by a few paid software writers? Unions are bad... lets go back to child labor which seems to be just around the corner now.

  • Power to the PEOPLE!

  • 'There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning.' -Warren Buffett. This fight in Wisconsin over Unions is the latest battle in that war. It has nothing to do with "balancing the budget" and everything to do with crippling Unions financially and thus end them politically.

I will admit that once or twice I have grumbled at the causes of unions. But on this issue, on this fight, they have my complete support. - Philly

  • History is a great teacher. Now everyone knows that the labor movement did not diminish the strength of the nation but enlarged it. By raising the living standards of millions, labor miraculously created a market for industry and lifted the whole nation to undreamed of levels of production. Those who attack labor forget these simple truths, but history remembers them."

    -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

    Wisconsin stand up!

  • MEChA de UIUC and the students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign stand with our working sisters and brothers in Wisconsin fighting to save the middle class.

  • I stand in solidarity with you. With all I have in me I will join your fight. Workers rights are human rights. In injury to one is an injury to all.

  • @noahjones73 Good luck with that -------NOT

  • NO worker should be FORCED to join a union or be FORCED to pay dues or fees to a union just to obtain or keep a job.

FORCED unionism relies on gov’t regulation for union power instead of selling the benefits of union membership to the worker who would then be FREE to CHOOSE to join or not.

FORCED unionism is bad for the union because politicians change.

    FORCED unionism is forced SLAVERY!

Closed-Shop unions bosses are greedy slavers of Useful Idiots!

    Congratulations to Wisconsin Gov.

  • @PreppingAddict Well said i was unfortunatly a union memeber for 22years paying dues for nothing i recieved no support when i need it most .Ihave been out of work for 2 years now.

  • @PreppingAddict

A world without unionism is a world full of slavery.

You must be the boss or someone that doesn't get it - working people can't normally afford lawyers or a professional staff that will advocate for them - yet when they come together and pay on average less than 1% of their salary to THEIR union that's exactly what they get. Legal representation and an army of fellow workers ready to defend and demand fair compensation.

  • Time for a "Taxpayers Union" 200 million strong fuck the 13 million public service employee's ....

  • Save America KILL all public unions

Starve the treasonous commie progressive dems and their taxpayer funded political war chest......

  • That is the best you got. Wow, ok d bag

  • One ? How come all the Demcrates that the union members voted in ran away? to hide from this, they wont even come to the table to vote .It will get past no matter what just like the crap health bill your Demcratic president pushed through .

  • The majority of the population in Wisconsin supports Governor Scott Walker's bill. Those who are protesting are members of the leftist fringe. They believe that public employees are ENTITLED to the same collective bargaining rights many private employees enjoy. The problem is that the public environment doesn't support a check and balance system to union power and control. Governments are not profit motivated, don't have fiscal risk assessment, and are ELECTED by the employees themselves.

  • Meanwhile Wisconsin will continue to drown in red ink. It'd be nice if unions were reasonable, but they want far more benefits than are fiscally feasible. For as unacceptably profit mongering corporations can be, unions are equally greedy for unreasonable benefits. This video does nothing to address the real issues facing Wisconsin's budget problems.

  • @reiththestud

It's too bad you don't know what this was really all about. The Unions already made concessions, Governor Walker wanted to also take away the right to collective bargaining. People like you keep forgetting to mention all the concessions they had already made, and so does Gov Walker keep forgetting to mention that.

  • @WheresMyKoppy no he knows you said u will make concessions but u r just trying to hold on hoping a democratic governor will get put in next. When that doesnt happen you will right back here again protesting. It is time to break the Public Unions and that is what he is going to do. Hope U enjoyed the ride because you get no more tickets.

  • @tkcrofamericans

This isn't Twitter where you're limited to 140 characters, so correct grammar and word usage would be a nice thing.

So public unions don't 'get any more tickets' but wealthy people like the Kochs do? I suppose you do as well?

As far as a democratic governor, I don't care if an elected official is democratic, republican or from Mars as long as they do the right thing.

  • @WheresMyKoppy If you are a member of a union you are told to vote Democratic . As far as i can see people like the Kochs earned their money from hard work . I think thats the American way you earn it .And what is with all these people who feel they are entitled to something and that government should pay for it on the backs of the everyone else in this country .

  • @tuffneck RIGHT ON !

  • @tuffneck No one tells me who to vote for. A suggestion or a recommendation does not force anyone to vote any particular way. Decent pay and benefits is NOT entitlement. Public sector and union employees pay taxes just like everyone else. No one said people like the Kochs didn't earn their money, however they are trying really hard to earn more on the backs of the poor and the middle class while sponsoring what amounts to class warfare against American workers.

  • @WheresMyKoppy Unions only make up for 14 million workers in the US out of 120 million so i really consider the other 106million people the true working force of the US .By the way the percentage of union workers is dropping at a rapid pace 1983 20.1 % 17.7 million union emplyees now 11.9 % down from a year ago this was a 2010 stat so it is worse now im sure 612,000 union workers lost .Good luck with your union you might be next.and yes you are free to vote for who you want This is AMERICA

  • @tuffneck

And because we have so little union workers the middle class is screwed. Big money destroyed our private sector unions (which brave working women and men build up over the years) and what did we get - outsourcing of jobs. Now big money is trying to destroy our public sector unions and what are we going to get - less good jobs for the middle class (i.e. more poverty & unemployment). It's time for the middle class to stop accepting the short end of the stick and get our fair share

  • @MEChAdeUIUC See the problem is that union memebers think they are the middle class when they the unions only make up a small percentage of the middle class The middle class American makes anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 a year .Union workers are at the higher end of that scale .This all started when a Demicrate Named Clinton signed in NAFTA .THE UNIONS SUPPORTED THIS .So whos fault is the outsourcing of jobs? That was like 15 years ago and it has been down hill ever since .

  • @WheresMyKoppy Hey why are so focused on the Koch's when the top 8 contributors to the losing democratic governor was labor unions totaling $200,000. I don"t here you complaining about that oh that's right it is OK when it is for the left. Could you please look up facts and not just watch TV to get your information. Hey look I used proper grammar so just like a typical left view do as I say not as I do and You still get no tickets. LOL!

  • @tkcrofamericans

$200,000 versus millions? Are you serious?

No, you did NOT use proper grammar, nor did you use correct punctuation. Add in at least one word usage error. Not to mention the assumption that I get all my information from TV (I don't), and the fact that I disagree with you means I'm some kind of 'leftie'. Next you'll be using that tired, laughable, lame old liberal media bias BS.

  • I'm from NJ and we stand with you ! We also have a Corporate thug in power. He's a real "Snake in the grass" He would like us to think he is not as radical as his partners in crime. For sure he is as black at heart as the they are .He's hoping for a run at the White House if not in 2012 then 2016. I say NO to a Country " Of the corporation,by the corporation, for the corporation.

  • @tomtomandloulou Gov Christie in NJ is the best thing to ever happen to the state of NJ .... So you say "No to a country of Corporation " I ask you then were for the bailouts of 2 major Manufactering CORPORATIONS by the government ,and the 2 big housing corperation .OHYA Gov Christie will be in the NJ Capitol for 8 years then he will run for President .He already said he wont run in 2012 .

  • @tomtomandloulou Fuck all union scum - Lazy slackers who want a free ride

  • @biggerturtle Pathetic. I guess expecting fair pay and benefits for working makes a person a lazy slacker? Oh I guess you believe teachers, police officers, fire fighters, all public workers and anyone else in a union should be working 100 hours a week for minimum wage? Oh wait, let's eliminate the minimum wage so we can work for less...

  • @biggerturtle

People like you are so ignorant it's incredible! If it were not for Unions no one would be working only five days a week or 40 hours; our children might be working in sweatshops, not to mention most people would have no benefits. The ignorance and downright mean nastiness I am seeing from some people in this debate is incredible! You people know nothing about anything!

  • @WheresMyKoppy No moron., Unions had their place 50 years ago . Now they are scumsuckers who reward incompetence through seniority. Teachers pay should be based on merit. Unions prevent that so incompetent ,and inept teachers are at the front of the system . No wonder our kids are not properly educated Add to thatt the total corruption of the union bosses like Trumka feed into the union and the working people of America and their kids are fucked. That's the sorry truth, like it or not

  • @biggerturtle its a race to the bottom, you first

  • @AbbyScott72 you are already on the bottom and I am on the top

  • Wisconsin, be ready to take on the Tea Baggers on Sunday!!! Everyone must show up for this one!!! MN Local 2829 shows support for you and every public and private union accross the country!!! Keep the support going STRONG!
