Its the sound of side 2 bleeding through from poor tape production. side two is running over on to the playback head a little, and your hearing it in reverse...
Personally this could be some sort of "residual" contamination during the recording of that tape. Remember, old fashioned recorders usually have the sound of a past recording and that is accidentally put into a new recording. BUT I don't know why the voices sound as if they were backwards. Ever curious in reversing them? :p

I was in a band in high school and we were recording drum tracks in a church.(great acoustics) on the reverse Sid of the tapes the drums were backwards! It sounded amazing , although quiet. We turned it up and recorded it and used that track. At first we were freaked out, though!

Listen closely to the part right after he says "Sick 'em". Throughout all the pauses in his dialogue you can hear a faint voice underlying the audio. If you listen closer to the parts when he talks you can still hear another voice talking at the same time he does.

This is bleed-through. What's happening is that they audio on the other side of the tape is coming through, and when that happens, the words are in reverse, thereby sounding like a foreign language. Used to happen on my tapes all the time. The first one in my collection that I can remember in which that happened was Sinead O'Connor's "I Do Not Want What I Have Not Got".

sorry this is tape bleed. you can get a program called wavepad , i recorded this audio with it ( you can record any streaming audio)..i reversed that section and just with a quick listen it says something like " historicall fact -blah-present possibility and reality...
if you turn your tape around you will find those words and possibly more tape bleed...
another coolthing about that wavepad besides it being free is you can record the songs from youtube videos and turn them into mp3s.
by the way, you lie is the word "reality" being said from the other side in reverse..i have backmasked for 25 years and even if you SAY reality in your own voice and reverse it it may not be the same sound "you lie"as what is being studied.

It's definitely bleed-through. I am a former audio engineer and yes, bleed-through does occur on cassette tapes. It's usually when you use poor quality tapes which are made of a thinner material. The playback head is picking up the magnetically stored information from both sides of the tape at once, but the side facing the head is always going to be louder because that's where the head is making direct contact.

I would suggest you flip the tape over when you reach the part where he says "you lie" to see if you can make out anything that Robison says that sounds like "you lie" backwards. you have a reverse speech recording that is bleedover from the other side of the tape. I had a tape recorder that would do the same thing on lower quality tapes, you would here the faint sound of the recording from the other side of the reversible tape bleeding through in reverse.
I would try stopping the tape just a bit past this section, flipping it over, and seeing what is being said on that other side.and see if you can also here the same effect from this first side. would be interesting
I believe it is true....well glad it wasn't something at home. Like I have cought some interesting evp's myself in my own home. It is demonic...I hope to have it posted on u tube soon. I think the "you lie" part is just a coincidence, that it's just some kind of a tape bleed through, the tape was probably just cheaply mass-produced and there wasn't a huge budget put to cleaning up anomolies or anything.
As far as the paranomral side/possibility of it goes, EVPs don't go on for that long either.

Anything is possible, however it is not uncommon for unsold tapes to be recycled & new label put on. Is there anything under the paper label? I bought a tape for my children years ago only to discover that it had been recycled from another tape that was a different, less popular children's tape.
Interesting - not sure if it is really an evp after reading the translator idea BUT I have some old photos my grandmother took when she was at this Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker thing and they have all kinds of weird white streaks and lights in them...

Is that the only place in the tape you hear this voice? If it was bleed through, it should occur in more than one place. Good Ears to catch that!

I think the "you lie" part is just a coincidence, that it's just some kind of a tape bleed through, the tape was probably just cheaply mass-produced and there wasn't a huge budget put to cleaning up anomolies or anything.
As far as the paranomral side/possibility of it goes, EVPs don't go on for that long either.
Interesting though.

You could be right about the "bleed through"but I would have to disagree with you where you said that evp's don't go on for that long.A ghost or human spirit evp may only last a second or two,but a non-human(evil,demonic spirit)could last a long time,whether it be on tape,or an actual possession of another person,etc.Thank you for your comment!

@ParanormalBoy022 yesI have taped a Demonic EVP before and its just PURE EVIL LAST FOR 12 seconds or so and makes every pet in the house cry when played back

hiya...to me it kinda sounds like 'bleed thru' of perhaps another session that had been previously recorded on the same tape. i hear words even before the the place you pointed out. if its not this, then interesting find! take care! :o)

Anything is possible, however it is not uncommon for unsold tapes to be recycled & new label put on. Is there anything under the paper label? I bought a tape for my children years ago only to discover that it had been recycled from another tape that was a different, less popular children's tape.

Interesting - not sure if it is really an evp after reading the translator idea BUT I have some old photos my grandmother took when she was at this Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker thing and they have all kinds of weird white streaks and lights in them...

This is interesting...but I think it is a translator that is recording a translation during the crusade. Just my opinion. It sounds like an African language possibly Swahili.

Great captures, really interesting stuff. Think its alot more credible as it is pre recorded and clearly no audience in the background. Tried to listen to the accent but cant get it, certainly doesnt sound english.
