@Dragorwyin Not trying to be a dick to you at all, you probably do not know that much about guitarists. Herman Li uses a shit ton of distortion, alt strums, and does pinch harmonics.... that's about it. Where as Olof Morck( guitar player from dagonland) does arpeggios, sweeps, rakes, bends...etc. Even if you asked Herman Li himself... he would tell you that he is not even close to being on Olof's level of guitar playing.

You don't know anything about Herman apparently. I'm a big Dragonforce fan and they do fine on guitar. Some of their older solos were all over the place but their newer song's solos are more for the sound and not just being stupid fast, See Heroes of Our Time. Love that solo. Herman does crazy sounds in his solos and that's what makes Herman who he is. The ring he wears is pretty fuckin cool, too. I want one of them. <3

@VulpineDemon The only problem with those " Cool sounds" is that they are not easy to replicate live and often sound like shit. Their solos really aren't all over the place either, Herman Li likes to stick to one scale and generally go fast, I'm not saying he is a bad guitar player. Herman Li is a fine guitar player. Olof Morck is just superior his tone/note choice is amazing, you're entitled to your own opinion and I'm fine with that. Olof Morck is still my favorite guitar player :).
