This ad is not exactly true...

The C6.R race car is actually a Z06 underneath, not a ZR1. In fact, it originally used the same 7.0L V8 as the Z06, albeit with a few modifications. When the car was entered into GT2, the engine was modified further and was downsized, initially to a 6.0L but is now a 5.5L (this was done to comply with the engine displacement restrictions).

The only thing it shares with the ZR1 is the body work. Structurally and mechanically it's a Z06.

@Leadfoot866 well a Z06 and ZR1 are very close, so its not a big stretch. Ads are mainly to entertain, and this one is cool even if the ZR1 and C6R arent extremely close in the car that they are. I like the commercial.

It wasnt dialed Down to take corners it was 2 fast every time they dropped

Time from the races they where having to add weights to even out the power distribution so it was about every 2 or more seconds 150 Lb's of weight they got tired of doing that and tuned the cars down
