  • uhmmmmm xDDD

  • Really a 6 inch turtles needs a 60 gallon. Bad example of the 10 gallon per inch rule.

  • @xbrittxunlovedx Its not really a MUST for 10 gal per inch rule..noone has anyone proof that a 4 inch cant live in a 30 gal

  • @KeySour

Yeah they do. Need the site?

  • @xbrittxunlovedx I understand its a good rule to go by..but theres no proof of it being a requirment

  • give the guy a break will ya! if you can do better make a video of yourself doing the same stuff in front of the camera!

  • umm your gonna umm a 40 gallon um umm yeah umm

  • first u gotta have mmmmmm

  • --make sure he's healthy and good to go. MMMM!

  • great videos I have Watter turtle

  • but if its just 1 baby red eared slider wouldnt a smaller tank due? I have a 5.5 gall tank for my one baby turtle.

  • 29.gallon for two Turtle

  • @Heatherandharry i have mine in a 1 gallon tank with no filter in green water. She doesn't mind

  • @valleystylez you seriously have a turtle in a 1 gallon tank...

  • @valleystylez oh yes she does mind! how would you like to be in a cramped closet?

  • @Boxers0 I guess you're right. I will buy her a 1 1/2 gallon tank. She will like that more

  • @valleystylez well i guess thats a little better. But when it grows up you will realize that it wont be your tiny baby anymore, and that you will need to get it a bigger tank.Im getting a 6 year old one from my aunt and he is in a 30 gallon tank.Besides,it will look so much better with more room, and when your baby dies, you will just reuse the tank.

  • @Boxers0 my baby will never die. I care for her real good. Besides, she doesn't really need a bigger tank because she doesn't even move much. She saves me money.

  • @valleystylez i think you do everything to make her healthy, but what about making her happy? I believe that she doesnt move much because 1.she is bored or 2.she is lethargic, which means that she is to cold to move around much.

  • @Boxers0 what do you suggest?

  • @valleystylez i suggest getting him at least a 20 gallon tank. The more the better!

  • @valleystylez A one gallon tank? Are you crazy? You need to measure your turtle. It's one gallon every inch. I mean seriously, a one gallon tank? That's inhumane! I think if you can't care for your turtle properly you don't deserve one. Do some studying because you clearly know nothing about turtles. And turtles can't show emotion if they feel bad because in the wild, the sick get eaten. "She saves me money" She isn't a friggin coupon. She's a living being that needs space. Your messed up.

  • @NinjaBieber Hate to break the news to you buddy but you are just as wrong and misinformed as the person you're commenting on. As a general rule turtles need 10 (that's T-E-N) gallons per inch. Not trying to chide you. Just hate for others to read your comment and become equally misinformed.

  • @winstonsmithization Um, okay? Why the crap are you talking to me like I'm stupid? Yeah I made a mistake. Oooh sue me. Sorry for being human?????? I HATE people who think they are better than me so stop right there.

  • @NinjaBieber Please don't take it personal. I meant no harm. Just don't want people to become misinformed. If someone sees your comment without correction they may believe that info to be true. I don't think your stupid nor do I think I'm better than you. So please accept my apology if I came across that way. valleystylez def is keeping his turtle in horrible conditions. Btw, do you have any videos of your turtle? If you do I'd like to see them. I love all animals, esp. our chelonian friends.

  • @winstonsmithization Sorry for being so harsh. I'd post videos of my turtle, but um.....I don't have one.

  • @valleystylez Let's be honest. That setup is a turtles worst nightmare. You call that living but I call that slowly and painfully dieing. I truly hope for the turtles sake you take the time and money to house her properly, or at least as best as you can. A freakin' rubbermaid container is better for goodness sakes. How would you like to live in my trunk? You wouldn't mind would you?

  • u wana a bet my moms best frend in high skool has a pet store and lets me get stuff for like how mucch he pays for dem and if u dont belive search up newts pets and his first name is chris and he lives here in michigan just like me representin da D

  • hahah 0:08 to 0:09 he makes weird noise

  • @goi0koi yea its called clearing his throat.

  • @KeySour he cleared his throat 12 times then!!!!1 :p

  • lol

  • is a 32 gallon big enough

  • nope wat????

  • how much does a tank like this one cost?

  • like were im at i kan get a 30 gallon like that for 50 buks

  • in the summer i got an 1200 gallon pond outside but in the winter i have them in a 90 gallon tank i have an about 14in snapper 2red ears and a softshell turtel i caught them all....

  • Dont tell me there all in the same cage

  • no i got the snapper i a 55 gallon i took him out wen he got like 10in

  • I have a 6.3 inche turtle -_- i dont know what to do :(

  • How big of a tank do you have? Rubbermaid stock tanks are relatively inexpensive - less than $1 per gallon and come in 100, 150, and 300 gallon sizes, if you need a larger tank.

  • that much water i thought the water level should be until it cover the turtle?

  • The water level should be at least as tall as the turtle's shell is long, but it can be much deeper, especially if you have underwater resting spots. Sliders live in rivers and lakes - the water gets pretty deep.

  • "your gonna need a uh MMMMM"

  • morshu? MMMmmmm

  • What size turtle should i get? I wanna watch it grow up.

  • What size enclosure can you provide when it's full grown? That's the first and most important question. Some turtles need a 40 gallon when full grown, some need a 125 gallon when full grown - and both probably start out the same size as a hatchling! So make sure you know your species and what it needs before you get a turtle.

  • Hi can u help me please I live in Belgium and i dont know where to buy it can u help me look online im trying but it doesnt work please do help me

    thank you

  • hey um id look in a pet store

  • Belgium has no native turtles, therefore you should not own one! resist the temptation to buy an illegally imported animal

  • Is it illegal to import turtles into Belgium?

  • mhmmmmmm

  • expert villages films... usually more info in comments...

  • Wanna give him a bannana? Btw the first few seconds he says "Okay we got a turd-le" xD

  • rofl

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • i babysit a turtle... :\

    if that counts :)

  • mmmhhhnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhm

  • i got my turtle in NY and it wasnt as big as these pet store ones... it was a tiny baby... i had him for 2 years now and he the size of the pet store turtles

  • my turtles are 3 years old and still small about 2 or 3 inches, y? i mean thy have evrything, but y? how u make them big?

  • i dont know how old my turtle is.. All i know is that i have had him for 2 years... He may be 5 or 6 yrs old... im not sure but i do feed it this growth formula which may make him bigger

  • well thanks (i give that 2 doe) how big was turtle when u got him?

  • My turtle was like a quarter when i got him

    how about you?

  • mine were quarter size 2, i think that there small bacause i never had a heater or a heat lamp and so yea i think they used to hibernate but now there more active check my vid i have (its only one l0l)

  • the main reson they dont get big is becuse they dont get the heat they need or they dont get the proper food.

  • i know that but they are at the proper setting and they eat all the food i give them and plants

  • can you put mini turtles in regular tap water

  • yeah as long its clean and not like too high in ph or too low usally the water is ok, but i filter it doe idk i feel its better for my turtles

  • noooo

  • Yes, as long as you have a charcoal filter. RES turtles are super resilient to water in comparison to other turtles. They take the largest range of PH levels iirc.

  • this guy has tourettes or something watch this video again and he randomly goes Mhmm! but with abit of biff and pow

  • You sure he doesn't have a cough?

  • MMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHMMMMM!!!

  • turtles will grow according to how much you feed them, you can control the size of the turtle by feeding them just the right amount, the more you feed them the bigger they get and wont stop growing but also remember the bigger it gets the more you have to feed it so choose wisely, a turtle can always get bigger but never get smaller

  • um do u really now what u are doind?

  • my turtle is less than 16 inches long and it is fiesty and it is a girl and i have a tank thet is less than 40 gallons is that ok?

  • the basic rule for turtle is 10gal of water per 1inch cpc

  • how far does the light have to be from the basking area?

  • It depends on how strong your light is. put your hand on the beach, it should feel warmer than the water, but no more. if you can control de temperature on the beach, try keeping it around 30-33 Celcius (I'm from Canada I don't use F!)

  • red ears are overrated. muds, musks, softshells, snappers are more interesting to keep than a red ear that you can find anywhere

  • i want a snapping i already hav a red eared slider someone plese tell me where to get a snapping every whare i go i never see a snapping to purchase

  • catch it.. i caught like 12 out a ditch by my house

  • i never see them in a ditch but i saw 1 at a pond by my house

  • Wouldn't catching be illegal?

  • smosh sucks now so stfu

  • i like smosh better mother fucker

  • can you put it in a smaller plastic aquarium

  • No it's suppose to be 10 gallons per inch of shell. You could get away with a 30 gallon tank, however.

  • dude i have two red eared sliders 3 inch ea.

what galleon tank should i get?

    plz reply back!

  • There are videos on care for smaller turtles of around 4 inches. But baby turtles would still work with 30 gallons. Just make sure the water isn't as deep as regular turtles like.

Remember, baby turtles hand out in smaller pools of water before entering deeper space. Go with about 5 inches deep.

  • You should get a 60 gallon smallest or if bigger so that you dont need another one for a while then get a 75 gallon tank ^^

    Love,

    -Cami Miami -turtle luvr-

  • no! it needs a large amount of space you ignorant fuck! if you can't care for a animal properly don't get it at all

  • not to be rude but do you have tourettes

  • what happen if i put it in a 10 gallon tank my mom wont get me a 40 gallon tank

  • thats wat happened to me aloong time ago... if its a wild caught turtle then i strongly suggest u let it go again if u only got a 10 gallon.. it wud be best for both of u cus it can die. but if the wild caught turtle is like 1-3 inches then ur good to go..

  • no, if it's a wild caught turtle you should release it no matter what. No turtle should be taken from the wild, that is common sense. to take one from the wild is both selfish and wrong

  • then it'll die due to the large amount of amonia it produces and the limited space. DO the turtle and you both a favor and give it to the pet store since you obiously can't give it proper housing.
