My guess is either file a counterclaim stating fair use (which works mostly, but you really run the risk of losing your channel) or slightly speed up or slow down the tune so the software doesn't recognize it. Either way runs a risk....I decided it is best to just avoid pissing off the copyright police and playing the songs that aren't on the Gestapo's little lists.

Hmmm, what about Stay Clean? It has a pretty sweet bass solo, or Stone Dead Forever perhaps? Try to think of a cover that know one else on YouTube has covered. Or what about Keep Us On The Road from the first album, it also has a bass solo, either way what ever you do will sound amazing, but there's a few suggestions :)

I like your picking technique, you have the speed of a guitarist but the attack of a bass player. Does your thumb ache on your picking hand?

My muscle between my thumb and forefinger really ache if I have to play a long song with a really fast, repetitive riff, especially one that takes a lot of pedal note control like Maiden or Slayer. In fact, after some tunes, I am incapable of opening my hand for about 20 seconds after, and I have no gripping power. You can see this effect on that muscle in my vids if you watch my grip. When feeling relaxed, the grip is open, but I close my hand to readjust the pick when I start to get fatigued.

Hey man, I've been wondering for some time now, how did you develop your picking technique so well? You trully sound like a beast (in a good way) when playing the bass pickstyle. Also, great cover, like Sabbath, Motorhead is always awesome.

I started playing with a pick, and so it has always been the natural way to play for me. But what really developed my technique was having passive, bad pickups for the first three years of playing. You had to really slam on the strings to get a decent sound on that first bass of mine (it was an Antares), and the strong attack just stuck with me. Not only that, but all I did was down-strokes..played Sabbath like that. When I got the Rick, I played the same way on it. 99% of my sound is attack.

If you listen carefully on that record, he is playing all sorts of stuff in there, but if you watch the video, he only looks to be doing simple stuff. Back then cameramen and video producers didn't make things match very well. But trust me, Lemmy is an awesome bass master.
