3eb changed the lyrics to this song from show to show. I like this version w/ out the " have you heard any good jokes lately, cuz i sure do need em'- operation iraqi freedom." Not that it doesnt make a strong point, and not that the state affairs isn't a joke.. but it dates the song. I feel their music is timeless.. so anwyay wonderful performance
as far as the lyrics being too political... have u heard other songs? they are moreso. 4th album...gotta write about something. he is still lyrically awesome if u ask me
i met you at their last concert and i felt liek i was meeting a celeb?? remember .. thanks for putting this up!! would you wantto send me these lyrics??
Green Day Reinvented themselves with that Album, You Can't hate on bands like U2 and Pearl Jam for speaking about their beliefs for their lyrics, as long as the whole fuckin Album isn't a campaign, I'm happy with a few political Songs!
amazing as always. I think bands get really gay when they get all political....like green day.
I died a little inside when I heard their fourth album (3eb that is) will be political. Are they ever going to finish that shit. I'm going to a show 2 weeks from now and I'm going to bitch slap stephen.
Do you go to their shows to get the lyrics man? lol it blows my mind, ive been intensely listening to all the different clips of this song since it was first posted on youtube and i still cant make them all out. Damn good job by the way
