  • yes use window professional

but most notebooks&netbooks for work are using windows home premium

  • i have never tried using mac but im definitely ok with my windows 7... it satisfied me a lot.

  • with this i can work easier and safer!

  • Is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Good For Gaming ??

  • @Themidozable10 Ok: Windows 7 Home PRemium can only detect 16GB RAM, so if you need more than that, go with professional. For gaming, though, they barely use 16GB RAM... maybe 1 or 2GB of RAM is used on a game while it's running. You probably will only need Home Premium, because Professional is basically Home Premium, but it can support more RAM and a Work enviornment. Basically, it is, but you're good with Home Premium. Save yourself $70 ;)!

  • @Themidozable10 yeah but some games is not support 64bit.

  • xp is best!

  • @TheCOB98 i don't think so.

And I have it and love it.

  • @rubenhoed I wanna upgrade from home premium to ultimate.....

  • i'm from the future, and i use windows 2000.

  • @gbnnn I've already used the OS many years ago.xD

  • Windows 7 Professional won't remember the position of your windows. Windows 7 Professional won't allow you to organize folders of programs in the Start menu. Windows 7 Professional won't let you drag the Quick Launch toolbar to the side of the screen. With Windows 7 Professional, you can try to work through the frustration, but eventually you'll give in and use third-party software like ShellFolderFix and ClassicShell to make Windows do things it could do in 1995.

  • @mcgmatt so true

  • I have windows 7 ultimate 32-bit and i wonder if microsoft is gonna make windows 8

  • @omghom i don't think that...

I download the IE9 Beta and the IE crash....

maybe for the OS (Windows Vista)

  • Eh... highest rated comment is me. Didn't expect that. Oh well, again... Windows 7 rocks!

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

Forum postings by 2 or 3 people out of 5 billion in the entire world is NOT evidence, you stupid cunt-faced schmuck.

GOD I love killing you :)

  • MrsJonePWNZ........another clueless, computer-illiterate newbie fucktard posting shit without bothering to listen to someone trying to give advice.

But then again, all 18 year old CHILDREN think they know it all. What a shame they don't listen to their wiser, experienced elders instead of making buffoons out of themselves on YouTube every day.

  • hey i have windows 98 and its doing that rundll or what ever it is thing can you help me its made by IBM

  • Come look at our channel. We have all how to videos on Windows 7 Professional vidos plus these. We uploaded these videos aswell.

  • I had alot of BSOD's with my Windows Vista! I bought and installed Windows 7 and it doesnt even have any BSOD's and after the 1 years of use i havent gotten any viruses at all ! I dont know how you did it Microsoft but thank god for it :)

  • @cardzone1000

First off dude, BSODs are there for a reason. You must have screwed something up somewhere down along the line. Installing a fresh OS means starting from scratch with a blank slate. If you don't take care of your system, or make bad decisions, then the BSODs will come back.

As always, Google is your friend . There are tons of tutorials on how to fix literally every Windows problem within minutes. That's how you learn.

  • @TheUberDeity Actually my BSOD's from my Windows Vista were some hardware failures from HP! They said i had a Fake Motherboard -_-

  • @cardzone1000

My tip? Next time build (or have someone build) yourself a custom made PC. Trust me, you can buy premium-level, top-shelf parts and create a kick-ass system for a lot less than a big-box company would sell you, and you won't be forced to suffer their closed-ended software and hardware setups.

Case in point: Mac top-shelf Mac Pro costs $3799. You can build a 6-Core PC with triple the power for $2200 that will eat the Mac Pro's soul.

  • @TheUberDeity I hate Laptops! I will never buy a laptop if i dont need it! laptops have lower memory and if your a home user then yes I WOULD BUILD A FREAKING AMAZING TOWER! My point is if you travel alot and want your own computer to use in College or School Then buy a Mac or a PC laptop but if your a Home user and do work on your computer Then Buy a Normal Huge Tower PC that you can build your own ! You can take Laptops apart but its useless. Also i prefer PC's for my gaming! Thank You

  • @cardzone1000

Depends how you look at it. Gaming Laptops like the Clevo X8100 and the Asus G73 series laptop are meant as desktop replacements. The only thing you're doing without is a quality sound card, which can be rectified easily.

Case in point: i built a mammothly powerful Desktop 3 months ago that eats everything for breakfast, but before that I was using my ASUS G71GH-A2 laptop, and it was killing everything just as good. Easier, more convenient to hook up to big-screen, etc.

  • @TheUberDeity I wouldn't say the asus G series laptops would make great desktop replacements. They run very hot and hooking up a moniter to one will add 10Degrees C on its own. When im using it as a desktop im looking at 70degrees on idle and upwards of 100 on full load.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

Well I doubt that. I use an ASUS G71GX-A2 and even at high load, my temperatures never go beyond 45C. I fail to see how hooking up a monitor will do anything unless you're running a dual monitor setup, in which case the extra load on the video card would add a normal increase in temperature to begin with.

Just so you know, 100 degrees F is 40C, which is the average temperature that ALL computers run at. If your machine is running 70F on idle, you're WAY ahead of the game.

  • @TheUberDeity You think im dumb ? Obv 70F is low, that why when i started the unit of measurement i said C, and you can doubt that as much as you want im using the asus G51-jx and look up any reviews on it every one will say the same thing it runs hot.And yes hooking it up to a monitor is adding a significant amount of heat to the card. 65-70C with one on idle let alone 90-100 on full load. The only reason i replied toy you're comment is so other people don't do the same mystique i did.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

If your laptop is running 70C then you need to take it in for repairs. It's not supposed to run that high, so obviously you have a broken fan or something. if you're running 110 on high load, your laptop is going to burn out and die in no time flat. Get it fixed.

A laptop should never be used as a desktop replacement? Why? Why say something stupid like that. The Clevo X8100 is a full-fledged desktop killer and does everything a desktop does with portability to boot.

  • @TheUberDeity First off i sent it back and it was returned to me saying nothing was wrong with it, i said it runs at 70C when its plugged into a monitor. And why you should never use a laptop as a desktop replacement is because in situations like mine if its running hot you cant add an extra fan, you cant repair your own hardware, you cant upgrade your hardware and you cant clean it out yourself without breaking a warranty.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

Ummmm, yes you can. If you know what you're doing, you can take it apart and do your own maintenance and swap out parts.

Funny you should mention warranties. If you buy a store-bought desktop and break the sale by opening the case, your warranty is voided as well, so your argument is a little silly. Actually, it's a lot silly.

Bottom line: your laptop needs to be looked at. No laptop runs at 70C unless something is wrong with it. Plugging in a monitor doesn't cause that.

  • @TheUberDeity Already told you i sent it back to asus, and no you can open up your desktop and clean it out and do you're own maintenance without voiding warranty and working on a desktop is 10x more user friendly then a laptop.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

dude u are a dipshit. uberdeity branded your ass and owns you like cattle. nice troll job but u got fucked up something awful

  • @eyeinsistGT3

It's a shame, really. Little children talking about things they're clueless about. But I mean seriously, every misguided 18 year old teenager always thought they knew everything, so I'm not too surprised.

Unfortunately, I'm going to school his scrawny ass the HARD way. When he's old enough to legally drink, then maybe he might see the light.

    Then again, maybe not.

  • @TheUberDeity you sound 14 man, just in case you were wondering what your little pointless discussion reads like

  • @tutinispa Im actually not trolling and if you want to make yourself not look like an idiot you should do some research on G series laptops. "newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220639" That's one review site of douzens saying exactly what i have been, good try tho.

  • @tutinispa

If your opinions meant a shred of difference to me, then I guess I'd be all broken up inside. But unfortunately (for you), I've simply had a great chuckle at how pointless your comment is....and how magnificently glorious and irrefutable mine are.

That's the difference between you and me. What's that? You agree with me? Of COURSE you do! :) Of course you do.

  • @TheUberDeity Cool story bro maybe when you actually do some research and find out how much you have been wrong in this argument, you wont make an ass of yourself again =D.

  • @TheUberDeity Like i said before "newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220639" read every single con is the same runs hot and over heats If you're to lazy to look up information of the laptop il do it for you :). Im not going to lose an argument i know this much about.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

You know nothing. You lost, I won. Like the rising and setting of the sun.

  • @TheUberDeity Lol you arguee like a child "ZOMG this guy has evidence that im wrong so il ignore it and pretend im right"

  • @TheUberDeity But im done arguing with a person who is to dense to actually read my replies, i said it runas at 70c When plugged into another monitor.

  • @MrsJonePWNZ

Hey, fuckstick, you want to throw insults? I just said that plugging in a monitor DOES NOT CAUSE the problem. So read SLOWLY this time:

"No computer or laptop under heavy strain should be running at 70C, or else there's something physically wrong with the fans or cooling mechanism of the machine?"

Got it, Cunt? I DOUBT it, you're too fucking stupid to realize what an arse you sound like,so do me a favor and go run around in circles by yourself from now on.

    We're DONE here.

  • @TheUberDeity A laptop should never be used as a desktop replacement

  • @cardzone1000

Laptops SMOKE for portability, convenience and ease of use. There's little you can't do with them. Now compare that with a big desktop PC, and you're more confined. I use laptops on the go. But sure, the primary home PC is what I really like.

  • Just get Home Premium, it has the same stuff except for XP mode. Just get Virtual PC for that.

  • New Design, same shit ;) I prefer the original ... MAC !

  • @aetRene

As opposed to Snow Leopard, which offered literally no changes from Leopard, right? RIGHT???

Buying a Mac is like paying someone to take a nice big steaming shit on your chest.

  • zeigt mit mal den bluscreen unter Windows 7

  • I'm a Mac and Windows was NOT my Idea :D

  • fucking linux

  • I'm a PC!

  • I have Ultimate. :D

  • whats the differences between ultimate and Professional?

  • @eagleshot1337 Ultimate has SUA (Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications) and and Bitlocker Hard Drive Encryption and Professional doesn't.

  • @eagleshot1337 AFAIK, Ultimate has all the benefits of both Home Premium and Professional, meaning you get Media Center (!) from Premium and location aware printing from professional etc. Ultimate also has extras like BitLocker and AppLocker (whatever those are) and a few other advanced things.

Just google "difference between windows 7 versions" and hit the first link.

  • @PowerTorsk Professional includes Media Center as well.

  • @thebsdguy Sorry, my bad..

  • @eagleshot1337 Also, with Ultimate you can download a lot of language packs, and install them easy.

  • I purchased Windows 7 professional on the date of release last Oct. and I love it.

  • Good vid about Windows 7 Professional! ;)

  • Got my Ultimate 64bit from my Windows 7 House Party :p Love it. I still think they should use the one-edition-for-all strategy, though.

  • @GeorgePresents

lulz, same here. i never really understood why they couldn't just have released ultimate and slash the price a bit so everyone could afford it.

  • @BigTysHouseOfTech Or just throw out the edition crap entirely and sell one all-inclusive version and make everyone happy!

  • @thebsdguy

    Lulz, extanctly :)

  • I have Ultimate 64bit on my Toshiba, best OS ever

  • i like windows!

  • nah Pro is like 200, but the upgrade i think is like 100$

  • I bet it costs about 450 usd for a few files that make windows work.

  • I upgraded from Home to Ultimate :P

  • Nice ;o. If i had the money i will buy it XD.
