He's probably a tame rabbit breed that looks wild (Seems Belgium rabbits probably look different than wild U.S. rabbits but there's even some tame breeds that look kind of like wild ones here). Or someone raised a wild one then let it go so it's happy to see people. That had to be neat. I just hope it doesn't get killed out there. Have you taken it in or found out if it belongs to someone?

Ever hear of the freakin' Humane Society? If you can't take him in o.k. not everyone can just take in a pet but you could call your local Humane Society or animal rescue. A friend? SOMETHING besides just leaving him to die.
