My gosh, who ever asked you about eve online, kudos. I am playing it right now. Though i love it more than wow, if you are into raiding and such i recommend wow over it. Plus eve online is about 1% less complicated than real life economics. Although you can buy game time with ingame currency so that's good in Eve.
