Yeah!!! Useless test! First of all you won't hit a fucking horizontal bar that is invincible... You will probably hit another bumper that is also shock absorbing and the result will be divided by 2! Plus, it hit at the extremity of the bumper, small area... of course it did that damage... Is like you barely hit something with the bumper and you scratch your entire side of the car... Stupid test!

I love the comments on here. Didn't know so many people got degrees in crash dynamics or engineering. Headlight $3-400, bumper cover $300 + paint, it's not that hard to add up. This crash is lined up to do the most damage, had it been centered, it would have likely bounced back. Cars now days are designed to crumple to minimize occupant damage. After all, the ride to the hospital will cost you over $1200.

Well the car is built with different stages of resistance.m The actual cocpit is extreamly rigid so to prevent you from getting crushed. Most of the accidents I see with big suvs the driver of the suv usually goes to the hospital because the truck would not absorb the impact properly to minimize the internal damage to the driver.

Are you kidding? If a piece of shit went up against an suv the person in the prius would most likely die. It's simple physics: Prius is smaller than an suv, therefore the prius experiences a larger change in velocity than the suv. It doesn't matter how much of a piece of shit you build a car to be, you still can't argue with newton's 3rd law.
