  • Kylies is best!

  • me encanto la canción y este collage de videos ... super

  • What idiot decided not to include this masterpiece on the KM album? This is so much better than songs such as Surrender or Falling! This is to good for a B-side!

  • @treg1980 I know! I hate it how great songs end up as B-Sides and weaker tracks get put on to albums. It happens far too frequently.

  • I LOVE IT...I MISS THOSE "KYLIE DAYS"....

  • IMHO Etienne's version is better - I actually like the instrumentation here a bit better, but Kylie's voice, while good, doesn't seem as well suited to this type of music as Sarah's...

  • Good cover, nice real instruments used instead of samples but my favorite is still the original with Sarah. No surprise because Saint Etienne is my favorite band.

  • waht its on 1.01 to 1.07

i mean.. that viedo is from what performance? like buch of guys !!!

  • Amazing cover but she doesn't affect the charm and atmosphere of Sarah Cracknell, which'll remain single for me!

  • Cool song

  • Both versions are amazing.

  • Love St Etienne, Love Kylie. This is great!

  • St. Etienne thought it was a great song and they recorded later and finally was included in Japan Kylie's album.Anybody knows what happen with the other song? I am a big fan of Saint Etienne but i've never news from "When are you coming home?". In a Indie Spanish Magazine, Sarah explains Kylie though it was very similar to SAW era and she wanted to do "something different" but Saint Etienne never recorded it and the demo of Kylie of this one, never was released.

  • Kylie never covered this song. This song was written by S.Etienne for Kylie, but Arista rejected it . In 2004 Summer, some radio stations played it. Kylie loved a lot this song, and St. Etienne writted another one "When are you coming home?" but Kylie wasn't very sure with this one, because, according to Sarah Cracknell ,Kylie thought it was very "cheesepop".

  • It is a cover version- St Etienne originally released it as a single in the UK and reached number 54, and got to No 1 in the USA dance chart. Kylie version wasn't released until 1994 on the b side of Confide in Me.

  • @GUAKINILLO

KYLIE COVERED THIS SONG. NOTHING CAN STOP US NOW IS TRACK 9 ON ST. ETIENNE'S 'FOXBASE APLHA' RELEASED IN 1991. GET UR FACTS RIGHT

  • @GUAKINILLO yeah, you are talking rubbish. St Etienne released this back in '91 while Kylie was still with PWL. Kylie covered this 3 years later when she went to deconstruction.

  • @GUAKINILLO Yeah, you are writing rubbish. St Etienne released this back in '91 while Kylie was still with PWL. Kylie covered this 3 years later when she went to deconstruction. By the way, your written English is terrible. Please read what you type before submitting.

  • @GUAKINILLO Arista rejected it? Kylie never has been with Arista. I guess you meant Deconstruction?

  • Kylie in America! I'm so excited!!!

  • ALWAYS adored Kylie's version. So full of charisma and beauty. WISH she released this as a single!.

This was supposed to be the single in stead of "Confide In Me", I remember that very well!

  • This was an excellent cover and I think was part of her slow comeback from the Stock Aitken Waterman 80s

  • the greatest gain of hotness over a given period of time in the history of pop-culture. she really came a long way. wow.

  • The Ultimate Showgirl!

  • I adore this song. I always liked it from hearing it on Too Young To Die back in 95, and didn't make the connection until 2006 when I bought the Kylie Minogue special edition which had this on the second disc. Breezy and beautiful, I could quite happily play this around 11 am lying near to a stream in the country during a summer heatwave and convince myself I'm back in the 60s.

  • Makes me want to dance like Sarah Cracknell, ha ha.

  • both version's is good, as long as pete wiggs and bob stanley is the producer... ;)

  • Huh, never had any idea that Kylie covered this. Almost as good as the original, and she looks almost as good as Sarah :)

  • I like Kylie, but I still prefer Saint Etienne.

  • Great song and really great montage of pictures and vidoes...defintely takes in all the kylies..That girl certainly has lived..

  • kylie is amazing! Beautiful voice. Way better than the original saint etienne. I like this better.

  • I like the original a little better - but I like this alot too. It's difficult to cover something because you're efforts are always contrasted to the original in the sense of the original being the definitive.

But a question I have is : is this cover in a different key. I've been listening to the bass and either it's in a different key or it's subtly different in some way.

  • I remember this advert!!!!!!!!

  • I like Kylie, but I still prefer the original Saint Etienne.

  • i'm starting to prefer this version to st etienne's

  • Saint Etienne are good, prefer Kylie's voice though.

  • Saint Etienne RULES, look for the original!

  • this is a great song! it has a nice feel to it.
