if you dont already have them buy some sway bar disconnects for the front of your jeep its a cheap easy way to get atleast five more inches of travel.
Cool video, I just bought a 94 Grand Cherokee Laredo and cant wait to start building it up. Almost bought a ford, almost bought a Chevy, was sure glad i found the jeep. have fun
hello, i was wondering if you installed the suspension yourself or if you took it somewhere. Because im gonna be buying a 96 jeep zj and I dont have the tools to do that kind of stuff. is it possible to take it to a shope and have them install it and then just pay them a fee?
you should be okay to take it somewhere. call ahead first because some shops wont do it. while you have it there have em put some bigger meats on it. ;/
hEy nice vid, nice cherokee and nice suspension, I have a wrangler 94' and i want to buy a suspension, and i was thinking in a 3.5" Rubicon Express, i wonder if you coul tell me how did it cosT?
nice.. i just moved up here from yuma, az where we moslty do uphill sand drag style off-roading .. i have a 88' jeep cherokee(xj) with a 5.5 pro-comp lift and 15x10 alcoa rims with 31' bf- all terrains.. and i havnt met to many off-road enthusiasts here.. i'd like to try some mud pits and other similiar things like in the video.. please share any off-road spots and i would appreciate it..
hey man nice jeep! ive got a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 7" lift on it..here in Phoenix! i think i might just have to take a trip to Flagstaff soon now!
Hey, love the Grand. nice TR rear bumper, is a front bumper and winch on the way (ARB or TR?) was the Rubicon express kit very expensive? I'm thinking about a 1999 WJ, but theres not much aftermarket support. anyway keep on wheelin'
I plan on getting the TR front next year. Not sure about a winch yet, don't know if I really need it at the level I wheel. The RE kit was a little over 1K with the upgraded shocks. WJ look pretty good with a mild lift on it.
hey nice jeep man, im getting a 98 grand cherokee myself, im new to off roading and i was wondering if you could help me out with some stuff i may need, or need to know
Nice ZJ looks much nicer with the 32"s. Putting the 3.5 super flex in my 99 XJ next week cant wait. Rubicon express is by far makes the best suspension systems for jeeps. When you wear those BF Goodriches out i'd go with a set of truxus mts extremely good tire beats the hell out of the bfs offroad and they are good on road too.
I am following your progress on modifying your ZJ.
I like the part where you have both sets of wheels on the Jeep, I would have like if there would have been a closer view of this. Also i would like a closer view of the clearance between tires and wheelwells, bumper caps, with your 32" and 3.5 liftkit.
Thank you for sharing your progress and I'm standing by for later advancments with your Jeep ZJ
Nice Grand

I believe it was a little over $900 shipped. That was with the adjustable rear trackbar instead of the bracket
grngrand97 4 years ago
Hey, were did you get the rear bumper? I'd luv to put something like that on my jeep.
RickJame1986 4 years ago
It is a trailready rear bumper. Go to trailready(dot)com to find a dealer near you to order it.

I don't know of anywhere in Yuma, since I haven't been that far south yet. Most of my wheeling spots are in Scottsdale or around that area.
