I'm not so sure this is Clark. After watching the new video of her, as well as the clip from the gala, the choreography doesn't match. For example, when she is doing the turns on the line at the end, Clark does all of them clockwise. In this one she alternates clockwise/counter clockwise(I'm not a dancer, so the terms aren't dance accurate). In addition, the voice isn't exactly the same, and some of the other choreography/mannerisms don't match up. Any other thoughts?

well the thurns are different for everybody, for instance, in the original donna alternated, but in 88 when she came back, she kept them the same direction. over the right shoulder.

Too bad the trumpet and orchestra are so awful in this. The dancing isn't half bad.

I'm with yall. There is nothing quite as inspiring for me as this number. I'm obsessed with it and have been for a few years now. Like spklneelyspkl said, it is great to know there are others who appreciate this as much as I do.
