para mi fue la mejor voz de todos los tiempos, eh escuchado a De monaco, a gigli, di stefano,domingo etc etc,a los mas grandes,pero ninguno como Lanza.por otra parte, sobre gustos...cuando escucho a un tenor quiero escuchar algo fuera de lo comun,y eso para mi es EL GRANDISIMO MARIO LANZA"

sin dudas Lanza fue un gran tenor. Infelizmente casi non canto opera fuera en peliculas de Hollywood. Escuchastes la voz de Jussi Bjoerling? Para mi es el mejor . Saludos

No comparto su opinion, me parece que para cantar Otello Lanza no tenia el peso vocal y no creo que pudiera cantar toda la Opera completa, era un magnifico tenor para las peliculas.le invito ha escuchar a otros Otellos: como El mas grande interprete de este rol Mario del Monaco.Ramon vinay y aun que no canto el papel en escena Franco Corelli tiene algunas arias del Otello Magnigicas.

Por ahi en uno de los comentarios que he leido dicen Que MARIO LANZA FUE MEJOR QUE LA OPERA! y yo despues de haber leído,visto y escuchado gran parte de su legado OPINO LO MISMO....AQUI SIMPLEMENTE EN OTELLO YA CON UNA VOZ MADURA Y UNA ACTUACION MAGISTRAL NOS DA UNA IDEA DE LO QUE VENIA PARA ÉL,LAMENTABLEMENTE EN ESE AÑO 1959 SE LO LLEVARON A LA LIGA MAYOR......MIL GRACIAS!
