  • WMP.dll is basically a file required for windows media player to run properly. The only time you should run into that error is if you deleted wmp.dll like an idiot and are using wmp like an idiot. Seriously, who uses wmp. Get GOM or VLC >.>

  • its called google it

  • its funny cause all the errors i ever gotten on a pc was my fault...btw syntax error is just code that is written improperly...and no OS mac or windows well ever get it in this stage of development...only way you can get that error is if your the one making code and you just fucked up...

  • The first error it mentioned isn't even an error. The second one is an application error, nothing to do with the OS. At least Microsoft doesn't need to blatantly lie and slander it's opposition to sell it's products.

  • I've never had any errors like that using windows, and even I use a mac... This is ALL LIES!

  • 1. I've never gotten a 'cryptic' error on my mac, as it doens't actually tell you why it crashed!

    2. I've been to the geinus bar more times than I care to count for my iPod touch and iMac. I've been to an IT place twice for my PC, and never for my Windows Phone (not counting activation). For the PC, the visits were to transfer my files, and then undo the shitty work the first IT people did on my computer.

  • And since you do everything through a browser now days there is no notable difference between the two OS

  • wmp(dot)dll? That isn't an error message, thats a resource library.

  • The only problems I've had with PC is bluescreens because I had the brilliant idea of telling it my psp was a camera. Macs don't get errors because they can't actually DO anything in the first place.

  • XD This is total bullshit. I've owned a PC for 6 years now and I;ve never gotten a fatal error. In fact 95% of all the errors I;ve gotten were because installing pirated stuff is a bit tricky.

  • Noooo! Don't let him die! Nooooooooo!

  • windows suck

  • @TheMightyGurkin Ass pirate.

  • @pimas11 don't have to be so mean

  • Look, I think most people here are ignorant. The commercials are EXAGGERATING FOR EFFECT YOU MORONS!! All PCs don't have these problems but in my experience they have been the most susceptible to them. All right. You fucking idiots who say, "I have a Windows computer and it works great", that doesn't mean jack shit. Whoopdee fucking doo. I'm sure it works great but there are a ton of people whose PC's don't work great okay. There are a lot more complaints against PCs then there are against Macs.

  • @ABn5clinYR Are you stupid? That is an error... 192.168.0.101 is his IP address, probably static. And his router is the DHCP server... whining 'cause he got that error. d8:30:62:ad:6a:5e is the MAC address of the computer that's using that particular IP.

  • is not cryptic messages. how bout u actually learn about computers dumbfks.

  • in the 10 years i have been using computers, im 15 i have never gotten an error message, but fucking get this, the first time i ever used a mac safari crashed then the computer got a virus and fucking ran out of battery i swear on my life that is what happened, i told my friends macs suck

  • That's what SYSTEM RESTORE IS FOR. And please don't give me that mac has no error bull shit..

  • IMO its better to get an error message and be able to do something about the problem than not getting any error messages and still have problems

  • System restore...

  • When I finished installing iLife an error message came up saying "Alert: Something happened." Funniest error message ever!

  • macfags can suck my balls :D

  • Am a windows user, yeah, I've used macs too, and although most of these commercials are misleading, I still find a funny part to them. I accept the comedy, not the twisted messages.

  • xD i never have problems with 7 windows computers (i dont own a mac)

  • I'm a mac. I've been a mac for about a year now. I love mac and I will never go back. These commercial speak the truth. And I don't really care what PC's users have to say. I was a PC user for my whole life until last year. Please don't disrespect the mac unless you've used one. Because I have never, ever, once had a problem with my mac, and it's the cheapest one out there.

  • @NikolasTerenceStow ok i wont dis mac... MACS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! jk

  • @darkbladegamer666 , Im glad you saw the funny side of it , hehe

  • I can easily fix all of these errors:

WMP.dll is a missing .dll file for windows media player. Download the .dll or reinstall windows media player.

Error 692 is a hardware failure in your wireless router. Restart your router. If that fails, chances are you need a new one.

A syntax error is an error in the syntax of the code of a program. Download the newest version of whatever program you were using when you got the error. If that fails, don't use the program.

    Fatal error, just restart.

  • @gitghetto hahaha. good job.

  • I get error messages for no reason from fucken Vista! Even when the damn OS loads up. Piece of shit...

  • xD i never have problems with 2 windows computers (i dont own a mac)

  • @darkbladegamer666 well thats a problem right there , theres no such thing as a pc running windows thats never had a problem , so your unit must be defective , id take it back if i were you

  • Rofl yeah, 'cause if you're a company you'll never have to pay for an IT repair man, since you'd have already paid 4x more for the macs.

  • @Lazurath101 € 250 is pretty crappy for a PC.

€ 1100 for a Mac is high, but for an All-in-One, it's high-end (PC versions of All-in-One's are Netbooks, without portability).

But a PC for € 600 with Linux would be just fine.

  • @Lazurath101 not true 1) mac cant DO any jobs

    2) they require constant IT support anyway if you've ever used one :)

  • 0:13 rofl. I'm using a mac and this morning I got this error:

192.168.0.101 in use by d8:30:62:ad:6a:5e, DHCP

    Server 192.168.0.1

    WTF!

  • @tdub228 Someone is stealing your internet =/.

  • @FrozenIceCweam or hes stealing somebodys

  • @tdub228 That's your local IP address on your home network (your router). MACs/Routers have a problem with the assignment of IP addresses on networks being re-used. It's like if everyone has a seat in a car, the driver is constantly kicking you out of your seat and putting someone else in it.. but only if you're a mac.

  • @tdub228 thats not a mac/pc error, thats a networking error

  • @tdub228 thats your router fuckin around. not your mac.

  • @tdub228 You're using a D-Link router.

  • @tdub228 its means that your router crashed

  • @tdub228 actually, it's not an error, it's just saying that IP is in use by other direction.

  • @tdub228 u realy shouldnt have just told everyone in the world ur IP address now i can figure out where u live

but i wont go through the trouble

  • @cooldudeseb i know when he probabily reinstalled his operating system and got a new ip :O and this ip is over 1 year old!

  • @cooldudeseb *Facepalm* That's his local IP... good luck finding where he lives. Go ahead, find your own IP address according to your PC. It'll be 192.168.0.SOMETHING unless someone set up your router differently. Most routers start on that block.

  • @tdub228 I bet your using a pc XD

  • @bikaroo1 I bet you're a faggot.

  • @tdub228 What do you don't understand on it ? :D

  • @tdub228 That's your IP address, not an error. DHCP means Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, which basically configures your computer in such a way so that it can connect to the Internet.

  • @tdub228 That's not a problem with the mac =.=

I think the IP address that your mac is trying to use is already used by someone else

It happens even in PCs -_-

  • @tdub228 That just means that someone is having same IP address as you on your network

  • @tdub228 It means someone else on your network is using your IP address... :O

  • @tdub228 It's not your Macs fault, that's your IP address meaning that it's your Internet's fault.

  • @tdub228 MAC FAIL!!!

  • @tdub228 Thats not really cryptic if you're a high-school educated networks engineer.

    Of course, most aren't.

What it says is that the IP 192.168.0(<-Can't and or shouldn't be 0).101 is used by a host with the MAC-address d8:...., DHCP (you and/or the host is using DHCP?)

Server 192.168.0.1 (DHCP server, most likely your router/your ISP's router.)

So assign a new IP address/reboot all the devices connected to your network and it should be solved. 1 year ago I know

But yeah, Macs do get errors.

  • @tdub228 That's an internet IP problem thingy. (lol I have no idea what it's called) But basically, not a problem with the Mac itself.

  • :-)

  • im running win2000 sp4 aint nothin wrong with it .internet explorer 8 doesnt work but i have opera 10 and mozilla firefox 3.6 it runs smoothly my only prob is my hd space its only 19.1gb @_@

  • @dash257 Opera! nice man! making the switch to XP anytime soon? :) but on 2000? i would stick with Opera 9.x though i think

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

    awesome one!

  • PCs arent THAT bad...

  • @9848674445 yeah well try running the program that gave a .dll error on a mac hehehe

  • @mandowarrior123 you can easily fix the dll error by downloading it from dlldump.com
