thats whats up i have been crocheting for over 20 years but the needle down because life took place lol but in returning to college i saw folks rocking crochet appparels & i was like eurika!! i can do that 2.. i say all that to say i hae never read a pattern b4 !! i have created as i have went along i wud not claim 2 b the greatest ! i just simply believe wateva u d be PASSIONATE about it & u never know wat u can discover emotionally mentally & spiritually! one love SERENYTI
I thought that one had to follow a pattern in order to crochet but i just discovered that I can make a beanie any size with no pattern what so ever what I did... I had a piece i crocheted for a scarf that turned out to be to wide so i abandoned the project. it was single crochet stitch only. I folded the piece in half, sewed it together on one side then ran a stitch at the crown gathered it tight, secured it w/ the remaining yarn, turned it inside out , hid the tails added a border DONE!
you are amazing! fabulous gift! I am learning how to crochet and wish I could be as good as you and a few others i have seen here. thank you teacher... thank you!
@scared5hitless I am honored that you like my site and my designs. Like you, I had to start somewhere and when I first started and I taught myself. Because I love crochet some much and couldn't understand how to read the patterns then, I some how figure out how to make things I dreamt up. Believe me it was a lot of trial and error but I got the hang of it because I was deternined. And when we are determined to learn something you will and can accomplish and master the feat. Try you can do it!
