"I" in hokkien is lim pei which means "your father". That is another way of addressing oneself.

U cannot say like that! It is a very interesting and beautiful dialect. For example, "cannot say like that" in hokkien is "bay sai ah nay kong". Bay sai = cannot (sell shi.t) So when u disagree with someone, u say "sell shi.t lah". That is a very interesting way of disagreeing.
