Americans need to start thinking in the long term. We've completely wasted our resources with the quick fix approach we take into all of our problems. We were already in an almost unrecoverable deficit, and alot of major things needed reform. Hmm, whilst 2012 is still a long way off, I'd have to say my current favourite is former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson.
Having said that, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would still certainly be up there on the list.
I think after this current presidency, America will need to elect a Governor - someone with executive experience and a record of fiscal responsibility - not someone from Washington DC.
