@CCMrJones Nova is part of the Dominion which is the bad side from the point of the Raiders, and in the campaign Horner said she lied all about Tosh. Look at the cinematics you can see the difference there in which side was on the better side.

@Krisw39 The cinematics change the plot based on the decision, always making the decision you make sound better. Tosh is evil if you choose Nova's side, and Nova is "evil" if you choose Tosh's side. That's how the choose-your-own-adventure portion of SCII works.

Ghosts aren't normal terrans. They have been 'modified' in accordance to the Ghost Project (Kerrigan says it in Starcraft 1). Unfortunately, this is (was) the game that's supposed to tell what exactly the ghost project was. So we will never learn.

SC Ghost was never meant to explore the "ghost project" The so called ghost project is simply the Confederate, and later Dominion, government-funded training program and school for would-be-ghosts. Ghosts are terrans with a very unusually and rare high psionic powers, being able to read people's minds and move things with their minds. Every single protoss possesses this high level of psionic power level, which again, is extremely rare among terrans.
