Yeah man these jeeps are great. They are built to last. If something breaks down, like the transfercase Visco (they DO in the NV249...) You just go buy yourself a Nv242 Selec trac and youre good to go.

Great engines and the interior of the 5.9 is just adorable with all the leather details and smooth well built dashboard and details. Awesome suspension too, for a stock! rear articulation rules for a stock Jeep. Mine came with a T-case skidplate aswell and now its got a winch, too!

I had a jeep like that with the i6 and it ran well when i sold it last year. It had 128 000 miles and i'm pretty sure whith proper maintenance it could last another run of 120 000 miles. Fuck Hyundais Kia and all other ecoenergetic cars, hybrids or whatever... And screw the EPA... Bring back Muscle Cars with carburetors... Simple to fix and maintain. No computers no sensors... The only real downside I see to this program are charities and other non-profit programs that rely on donated cars to providie income. They are loosing out because people are using CFC to get a new car and not donating them.
