So far, Whitney's new album results have been solid but unexceptional. It looks to finish just single platinum by the time the tour ends next year (unless if the tour receives rave reviews or if there is an unexpected hit single, as both of Whitney's singles have done poorly on radio (except for the Urban Adult Contemporary format, a relatively small market), plus she only has one award nomination so far. MJ however could have received rave reviews and potentially a new album after the tour.
