I got the MMR vaccine I didn't expect this to happen I hate how autism takes away my freedom with being outgoing and talkative with other kids the reason I want to be non-autistic for some reasons I don't have to deal with this crap day after day and I can be alone without my parents but if I have it then I have to deal with it it's my life.
Anyone who says that autistics are ugly, dangerous retards need to look at your daughter. However, most of those people are simply immature kids around the ages of 12-30. When I was at that age, I could not be understood more than half of the time, even now, I have to speak in an automatronic manner in order to be understood.
PLEASE check out a great Children's book about Autism, PDD and ADHD called 'Why Is He Different?' (Please spread the word about this unique book, tell your friends and if you like you can tell me what you think about it. Big thanks!!). You can preview it on youtube profile called Monalisaknew. Just copy and paste the following sentence in youtube search window: 'Why Is He Different? (Autism Book)'
You can also buy this book on AthsePublishing(dot)com. Thank You !!
people that have problem with disabled people better get use to them my daughter is 7 has autism and i bring her out public all the time. im not hiding her from the world because of the way she is so if u have problem with disabled people then u find your owen country or planet the day of locking disabled child or an adult is over. GET USE TO ITS 2009 EVERYONE IS DIFFRANT
i'm glad you dont treat your daughter different or do wrong to her because you cant deal with her i have a son with autisum and i take him everywhere i go but i had a ex fried who had a son who had the same condition and she locked her son in a room all day and mistreated him and he died last year cuz she diddent know how to deal with him and i think people need to raise and awearness about those issues.god bless you and your daughter keep up the good work
if your trying to say that autism makes people act retarded! this is to people that think that then FUCK YOU! (to people that think that) people with autism have great potenshul! like isert nuton albert in stine..forgot others.. eny way almost all children dance silly
She's so adorable. My son sitting on my bed next to me just looked over at the monitor and giggled (he's also autistic). Thanks Sharlet for making my son smile!
She doesn't have as much of a pig face as most of em, I'd do her, but only from the back, I still don't wanna look at that face while I'm inside of her.
well i have been saying for years they are so talented ! wanted to let you know i had many kids come to my dance classes and singing classes who were Aspergies / Autisies so who wants to open schools for them all over Australia get my email ,address of my channel
MY 3 yr old daughter is also Autistic. This was very much like watching her dance. she has a routine to Roxanne from Moulin Rouge. Have you tried any of the "new methods for treating autism"? Like GFCF diet, or anti-fungal therapies? The dr.s won't tell you about it, but look it up, or email me for info.
how is she doing now? Are you doing any biomeds? My daughter is 5 and is has autism and ive started the b12 shots, there great, ive seen changes. were also doing probiotis and enzymes. your daughter looks great, does she have any words?
No words at this age but she is now 4.5 and many labeling words but still very little functional speech. She has many medical issues and some very challenging behavioral problems but she has come a long way and she surprises me every day. we use only play based therapies based on floortime.
I came hear to see you beautiful daughter happy. My girl is almost 10 years old, and she is very happy and she is learning well, every year better than another. She got a swimming diplome 2 weeks ago. We are very pround of her. Autism is not a sad issue.
There are in fact 3 individuals on the spectrum in my immediate family and 6 in my extended family. I think I can label my vidos autism if I want, and doing so helps me network and meet others with autism or parents of people with autism. I'd like to know why silverPoppy doesn't like the word, to me it's just part of my life and I have no problem using it.
Allegra250...I couldn't agree with you more! No autism is not a disease, but the love you have for an autistic child goes so much deeper than most people can imagine. You're a wonderful parent....piss off silverpoppy!

why don't you just say here's my daughter dancing. why do you have to label the video autism? and you alexzfan, why are you sorry? go pity yourself. autism is not a disease!
I label it autism because I like people to see my beautiful daughter when they search for autism. I like people to see how happy and adorable she is and think of autism that way. I am proud of her, thats why.
Why should you hide the term "Autism"?? This is not a illness of something like this, there so many differents levels.
Hiding is not a good idea, because we (as parents) live every day with this in our mind. Respect is important and being happy with our children. Celebrate life!
very cute kid. it is sad that she stopped dancing. That activity has sooo much potential for interaction. Maybe a new ballerina outfit. Or try pulling the rug back and calling it your dancing floor. She probably would like the way her feet slide with socks. God Bless you both.
I'm really not sure why. I think it's just a regression thing. She also used to create amazing artwork and doesn't anymore. She has started talking (single labeling words) and all other expression seems to have dropped right off. I think it's taking a whole lot of brain power to learn the speech.
they go through progressions and regressions, it is a long road, prepare yourself for a bixed bag of amazing moments and very dark days a s well, just don't give up, she'll be ok, girls are naturally smarter anyways!LOL
Rock on, girlfriend!! LOL my autistic son will bounce and flap his arms, stop, stand stock still, then wave back and forth to the music. His favorite tune is Brimful of Asha by Cornershop. Your little girl is so, *so* cute! :)
My aspie daughter is 7 in a couple of weeks and still loves Hi-5. Listens to it every night before bed (or has a meltdown). Such a cute video of your daughter, thanks for sharing!
i am a teacher in a special school for children with different exceptionalities (most of them are with autism) and i should say that they are so amazing, they never fail to amaze me..allegra,u have a beautiful child there, looking at her (and other CWA)i guess teaches us how to be happy in even the simplest of things :)
my son also has autism and loves hi-five too. music is so important to our children i always have m-tv on. yes they are a blessing but god their hard work too arn't they! god bless you and your family and don't forget to get enough 'me' time. x
spsbabybouvier! you an absolute loser! what kind of person could be so cruel! allegra daughter is beautiful. And i'm sure she is a much kinder person than you. seriously, you an embarressment!
Allegra is a name to describe a type of music piece. It's a girls name in one of my fave movies, so I use it as my online name. Your comments about my daughter show that you are a very sad individual and I'm glad we will never meet. My daughter is autistic, and she is also very gifted. I doubt you are.
Sharlet is a starlet! Very sweet. My daughter is autistic ( 6 1/2). She is am amazing mimic, she can copy tone, pitch of anyones voice. all children have hidden talents. just have to tap into them. G-d bless
