Di, There's a follow up to "Eat This", it's pretty old too. Called "Eat this too!". It repeats a few of the recipes but also has many others. I think you'd enjoy it also. I've tried just about every recipe in both...all good.

I bought Mama Dip's after seeing her on the Sarah Multon's show years ago. Great basic cooking book for Southern cooking. I am from the New England and found this book great--hubby from the South !!!

Yayyy! glad your back. I use Dom's book all the time. Try Michael and Mama's meatsauce for something different. And I think YOU will like the Pot deJell (egg plant recipe). One note: Dom uses no salt...it is just not possible. Take care!

Dom DeLuise seems like he'd know food. I also love his humor. His book has gotta be far far better than my 1961 Betty Crocker's cookbook. All the pics in that book remind me of Bewitched. The women in the book all dress like June Cleaver. LOL
