Bipin & Babul were assistants to Music Director Madan Mohan till about late 1950's. They went on their own starting film 24 Ghante. Their next project was

Salam-e-Mohabbat. Then they clashed and started their solo music ventures, such as 40 Days, Reshmi Roomal, Naqli Nawab, Baghi Sehzada and few more. They faded away real quickly. Listeners can sense, that there is a glimpse of Madan Mohans ghazal style along with his choice of instruments which Bipin & Babul had acquired from their Guru.

superb tune and stylish singing of rafi make this song unfurgottable. babul composed very good tunes for films that are less in numbers but the songs are high graded and very sweet. one film remained to be noted in dipiaar's reply and that is 'sara jenha humara' having good songs like 'ye phooloka gajara ye mera singar' .

I remember seeing this film on doordarshan when I was like 12 or something. I vaguely remember that another poet says his poem to which the main character (Played by Manoj Kumar)responds with this poem. Its a beautiful poem (?) on its own but it made even more sense then. wish I can find the whole scene.

Bipin Babul had given music to about ten hindi movies.Apart from this film he composed music for FORTY DAYS [Premnath],RESHMI RUMAL

[Manoj Kumar],RAAT KE RAHI [Shammi Kapoor],DAWAT,TEJ POSHI etc.All B-grade films.

I think, Bipin & Babul were 2 different persons. Babul continued to give music after they seperated. He had given music in mostly Tejnath Zar's films.
