I am currently deployed on this ship, and I can tell you one thing i've learned while aboard is that all of us on the USS Boxer love and miss our families back home. We truly appreciate all of the letters and carepackages everyone is sending. Keep sending your support and we'll all be home soon!

Thanks for posting this, TS. Nicely done. Our son is on his first deployment as a Marine aboard the Boxer. In his words "I didn't sign up to be a sailor", so 3-4 months confined to a ship will be tough on him and his fellow grunts.
OMG my fiance is on board the USS BOXER. This is our very first deployment together and is very very hard having to say goodbye to your beloved. God bless you all, my prayers are with you. And baby im so proud of been your fiance, I LOVE YOU AND I'LL BE HERE WAITING FOR TO COME BACK HOME WITH ME!!! I LOVE MY SAILOR :)!!!!

I was stationed on the USS Boxer from 2005-2009 and did 3 deployments. It's nice to see it leave.......with out me on it for once : )
