Ryan, I Have a question. Will Xcell pads work with MadCatz Portable Drum Kit? I have one of these and I'm thinking if Xcells are a good way for increasing sensitivness and rebound. Can you help me? really thanks ;D
Ryan, I Have a question. Will Xcell pads work with MadCatz Portable Drum Kit? I have one of these and I'm thinking if Xcells are a good way for increasing sensitivness and rebound. Can you help me? really thanks ;D
Ryan , i have a question do you sell the regular RB1 or RB2 stock kits, because i checked your site and went to drum kits and I didnt see it. Just wondering
@hawkeyefan3 absolutely NOT... The material that these are made of are HIGH HIGH quality material. Mouse pads would start breaking apart in a matter of weeks. This material is a hybrid material that literally is custom made :)
@Frijolero18 why would you want them for ions thats retarded these are like mylar pads to ions as these are to RB kits ion pads are oviously goingto be better but you could put these on to decrease them rofl.
I just put these things on a few days ago. My red pad came off because of a bubble that had formed, so I needed a replacement. This does reduce noise, and I noticed it is easier to do rolls. Really good for $20. These things are thick, but I haven't noticed any decrease in drum head sensitivity whatsoever, which was a concern for me. Good product for the price, and they look good, too.
Hey Ryan ! i have Madcatz portable drum kit and i was thinking wich one sould i buy the normal XCell pads or XL XCell pads? and do you ship these things to Finland ? :)
what about bubble pads? mine are pretty bad, good enough that i can still play but bad enough that i have 0 rebound can i take off those pads and just use the excell?
ok bassically i'm NEVER going to win ANYTHING because im pretty sure about that........and theres probably 20,000 people out there so im NOT going to win a thing......
@RockBandParts LOL that comment from 2 months ago was so funny, bless him thought probobly only just started playing rockband and doesnt know which pad is which, XD these excell pads seem really neet, there A MUST :D expecially for those dude's with moms that are like QUIET DOWN UP DER, or whatever hahahah, imma grab some Another amazing product :D
i find my problem is the force travels throgh the drumset into the floow, hence the loud noises and annoyed neighbours along with people downstairs.... i cant these would help that.... would they?
they look the part but doesnt look as though the same pressure is applied during the test, anyway the experts approve good enough for me
Yeah I got the Ion's for Christmas; I love the pads they have GREAT rebound and respond fantastic; HOWEVER; The Roadie (Stock) Pedal it comes with is not very responsive. Overhits on occasion, and does not feel comfortable to the foot when hitting it. I recommend the Destroyer or the RockPedal...
They basically quiet the pads every time you hit, and have a better bouncy-ness for drum rolls. In some ways they might help pick up pad misses. So in a way it does improve performance of your drum kit.
No, Stick and Peel,You can Take the pad from your Rock Band kit without Voiding Warranty, I hacked mine to work with a Electric Drumkit, I asked EA if I could send them back, they Said "Yes,"
To my understanding... These are just pads and wont fix problems with double hits or over hits. They will just make it quieter and have better rebound.
They don't exactly make your drum pads any quieter.....they just make them produce a different noise which is practically just as loud as if they weren't on.
Will these prevent bubbles on the RB2 sets? I'm contimplating whether to get the GH set or RB2 set, and if these can prevent bubbles, then the choice is made. :)
hey ryan, how good do these work on the ions? would they improve the responsiveness considerably? I want to be able to play faster beats easier.

So Ryan I got a few questions about theese...
1. My RB1 Stock Is SUPER unresponsive, over hits, double hits and is SEVERLY bubbled. Will it still work?
2. How long would delivery take to UK?
3. How much would this be in English £?
Bumpy70 2 years ago
To my understanding... These are just pads and wont fix problems with double hits or over hits. They will just make it quieter and have better rebound.
It should help the bubble's though.
