  • can you get chow chows in Australia or isn't it good for them in hot climates

  • The black one looks like my chow chow. Do they ever knock anything down? They sure are close to the vases.

  • To prevent dogs fighting over for food, I heard a dog owner say that when you give the dogs their food, it should always be given in the same order. one dog always gets it first, another always second, and so forth...don't know if it actually works.

  • i love animals but one of these bit me on the arm during a serious fight it was so sore i felt like killing it

  • lol my chow simba does that, he's 13 weeks old.

  • dont they get rough later? my dogs sometimes start out playful but then quickly get mad if one doesnt give away (aka let the other have the upper hand/do what he wants). theyve always been like that despite us punishing them and saying no.

is it because of hormones/gender? our girls fight with girls, boys fight with boys, but never girls fighting with the boys. help?

  • yep thats the right thing to do just grab your video camera...

  • @TheRandoms234 It's not like they're really fighting. They're playfighting.

  • the cutest chow wins. let the fiiiiiiiiiiiiight begiiiiiiiiiiin!!!!!

  • Our chows play just the same and run round and round the lounge room chasing each other esprcialy when I clap my hands, Your chows are obviously very happy and comfortable with you. They are so different chows I don"t like calling them dogs because they are so very different!

  • My Chow Chow Is only aggresive to my dad to everyone esle she nice mines only 3monthsold (: i love my fluff ball

  • lol, I like how the black one runs away from the orangy coloured one around the sofa, but ends up running into the orange one instead of away from it, because the orange one stayed on one side of the sofa and waited as if the black one had no idea he was there.

  • Your dogs are really beautiful....and playful too! I have a girl chow and she is lazy as hell....i always say that she is the most useless dog in the world! She won't bother even to chase the cats in the yard! But I love her still!

  • i have a chow he very friendly and nice but when we feed him no one can go near the food or he growls

how can i tame him or stop him from growling when he has food?

  • Although they are having fun; You shouldn't allow this behaviour in Chows

  • the whole time im worried about your plates and vases...lol

  • I have told you for the last time..., "THIS IS MY COUCH..."

  • i hear and read that chow chows are very mean unless you train them very very good, a want a dog that looks like a chow chow but has like the mind of a lab, can be lazy and very friendly

  • awesome doggie playmates. really enjoyed the video.

  • Wow, their both beautiful Chows. Your cinnamon male resembles mine so much it's scary, hes about 75lbs though. It sounds like an earthquake when he zooms down our hallway, lol. Great video.

  • Yes beautiful dogs. My Cinnamon is about 78lbs. Very loud when they get running on the hardwood floors. Thanks for watching.

  • are chow chows good dogs, I mean does all that fur makes them good cold temperature dogs, and I've hear they had a tendency to be violent and not listen ?

  • Like any dog, most specifically a chow. They really respond nicely to good treatment as a pup. Give a chow lots of love and care and they'll be the best dog you could ever hope to own. However, as they reach 6-7 years of age, the hormones change slightly and they become more protective. They will take a stance at an intruder, even a friend you know. They want you around to ensure visitors are still welcome. So for protection of dog and friends... be mindful of territorial protection w/ age

  • The cinnomon chows typically grow an extra layer of fur... Our black chow gets cold sooner. Your correct... 50/50 crap shoot. The cinnomon dosn't listen. The black one is like the good child. Listens and follows... Can't get rid of him. These dogs have food aggression. Don't feed them together, or they may lock onto each other. Their only violent if you raise them that way. They do get more protective of family around ages 7 and up. Great security dogs...Only bark when something isclose

  • @moreau212 Agree with the below comments. They are good cold weather dogs coming from Mongolia originally. They are not violent dogs unless raised that way (like every other dog) they are guard dogs and will want to be with you if there is someone unknown to them in the house but so long as you are calm your chow will remain that way too, don't expect them to want to be pet by strangers though.

Train them well and they will be obedient dogs, but they do have a stubborn streak to work with.

  • at first: you have two wonderfull chows!

and i have a question. how old are there and how much do they weight?

  • The cinnomon chow weights 78lbs... Biggest chow we've owned. The black chow weights 53lbs. Ages: 7 and 5

  • I don't blame you. They are fantastic dogs with great dispositions.

  • I wanna chow chow

  • Both of your dogs are cute i have a chow dog mix with a labrador, and he is black.

  • sorry it took so long to get back. No lab. However, I call him shepbucca because of his unusual ears and tail. He has fur more similar to lab and setter.

  • Thanks. We love our chows

  • Beautiful Dogs, I love Chow Chows:)
