I laughed my ass off when I saw this. I can't stand bicyclists who ride in the street as it is. When you make a point of riding your bikes slowly impeding traffic and laughing about it. Then you maybe you need a little taste of pavement. I have this recorded and I will watch it over and over and over and get so much enjoyment out of it. Beware critical mass!!!

I ride my bicycle as many places as I can.... but here in Albuquerque there is a pretty extensive series of bike paths WHICH I USE. I have heard other cyclists say that those bike paths are "novelty" and are good for "families with their kids on a joy ride, but not for getting around". Nonsense, riding in the street is stupid and dangerous.

By rallying like this and purposely blocking traffic, running red lights, and impeding/provoking cars, they don't make friends. I always respect the odd biker, but this CM stuff is really really bad, especially if you're going to work/school/family whatever.

And to the ones who don't own cars and don't have to pay those taxes, good! Why you might ask? Because of: 1) cyclists do not tear up the road like cars do so it makes sense to not have to pay for road repairs, 2) cyclists are not emmiting carbon dioxide from their bikes, and 3) cyclists are trying to be healthy and get some exercise unlike most american people.

Bikes should have their own passage ways. Sidewalks for the most don't allow skateboards. They were made for the walkers. Thus skate parks have come about. Everything has its place. The road is a dangerous place for bikes. I don't ride mine on busy roads. It is just too dangerous. Have you ever felt the draft of a semi?
