NO WHERE in the Bible was the baptism 'INTO THE MAME' of Jesus, associated with water. John the Baptist himself said Jesus would baptize with the 'Holy Spirit & Fire'. So,why are silly,so called Christians, baptizing in water, when the Bible never instructs us to?1Pet3:21,Col 2:8-13<---- Water useless,& without hands.
Baptism into the 'NAME' of Jesus has nothing to do with water. No where in the Scripture is there a command to be baptized in water.I challenge anyone to show me chapter & verse.
If you believe the Bible, and the Bible says ''That if you believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved'' then thats good enough for me. All of the denominations are largely a result of church politics - not necessarily entire belief systems. One can be of any denomination and still be Christian. Its the belief that matters, not the label you attach to it.
I can't believe that statement! If you are catholic, you are already a christian! There are many christian religions in the world. Catholic is one, Lutheran, Presbiterian, (I know I spelled that wrong) Methodist, Baptist, etc, etc. If you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, then you are already a christian.
mermaid3358:greetings in the name of jesus.denomination is not biblical at all.1 corinthians 1:10 let there be no division be among you, denomination is division amongs us it is a seperation among the believers.read also 1 corinthians 1:11-13.division causes confusion and GOD is not the authur i corinthians 14:33.GOD BLESS

This is amazingly wrong, disturbing, and completely counter to a message of transformation. You are comparing an ancient ceremony of the transcendence of self, giving up the self to embrace a selfless calling with an 80's cartoon which was based on marketing cars to children. Are you trying to say that choosing to live like christ is like choosing to be a robot car? Seriously?
"And the tongue is a fire the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell." That's for you lucart79.
lucart, you may not understand what this church does. I saw the pastor of this church last week at a retreat where he was the head speaker. What his church does is he uses pieces of pop culture to see Christian messages. For example to explain the Holy Spirit in our lives, he talked about Spiderman's Spidey Senses. For you and me, very traditional people when it comes to religious concepts, it is weird at first, but when I see that this is another way for reaching people, I love it.
That's SO CREEPY how thats the theme song of Transformers, AND it has the lyrics "Wash away what I've done" it fits PERFECTLY with the picture of baptism, AMAZING VIDEO!! This was a work of God, i think ♥
as a transformers fan I'm really offended by this

figures there was some way that the church would take Linkin park and spin it into a something that supports their beliefs...

Yeah I agree what's up with that? It would be more correct to say you're switching denominations.

good. cathoics arent the same because they dont practice batism for salvation no where in the bible does its say to baptize babies
TheChristianTower 2 years ago
though it does say to baptize disciples in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Baptism is an outward expression of the inward change.
and as far as denominations go, its about the Relationship with God Through Christ's blood shed on the cross because thats the 1 Truth and Only Truth
