@vitormeza Actually, that's not quite true. The videos was recorded on a PC, so it probably was played on an emulator. Emulators have embedded cheat programs, like codebreaker or gameshark.

Usually, the missingno glitch would create odd sprites instead of numbers that stand left of the item's name.

But he has clear numbers. Which means he simply used a cheat for 99 master balls in advance, to make this video shorter.

I discovered this glitch a long time ago but i dont about the hex code stuff. I just try my luck on whatever pokemon appears. Another thing is, if you talk to people who wants to trade, a particular pokemon appears like a lvl140snorlax i dont remember exactly wich but traders got some particulars just dont trade to them yet by choosing 'no' and head to the glitched area.

i havnt played this game in ages but ill try to explain it. you just get the last fishing rod in the game (i think its called ultra rod) and then you fish in the safari. i did it in the center of the safari where you can get surf, but i think you can do it pretty much everywhere. just make sure its in the safari and you have the last unlockable fishing rod :)

I usually just fight trainers while doing this and their Pokemon's special attributes are different enough to find a bunch of Pokemon. Either way works though. I've already got 151 on Blue, just messing around on Red to see what I can find.

I remember that you can't do it on trainers that you can already see, as the game calculates the trainers in sight and knows the start menu will be disabled the second you step into thier line of sight.

Trainers who are not in view are not calculated in advance thus you are able to open the start menu before the game calculates the trainer that is now in view.

You don't need to wait to get HM02 (Fly) either as you can catch an Abra much sooner and Teleport works just fine.

Stage 1 being: "Setting up a fight to go back to, but the game doesn't know what to fight yet"

Stage 2 being: "Fix the disabled Start Menu only by a trainer that can Walk towards you"

At this point you can actually safely save your game.

I've got a Mew from a wild level 20 Pidgey, but wild pokemon rarely have the same stats, the next level 20 Pidgey was a Shellder...

You could use a Gameshark Hex List for the Hex values of every Pokémon

Then convert them to Decimal.

For example, the Gameshark Encounter Modifier code: 01??D7CF

you replace ?? with 83 to make every wild battle a Mewtwo

You can use a scientific calculator to change the Hex 83 into Decimal (131)

The long part is finding a Trainer or a wild Pokémon with a Special Attack of 131...

Dude I've tried this but I think my way is so much simpler. Instead catch a Abra and use him to teleport rather than waiting for fly and I guess you know how to get mew in nugget bridge right? Well you know the trainers who fight in rows 1-6? And the mew glitch tells you to fight the youngster with the level 17 slowpoke. Well you can do that but you can also fight the next trainer using same procedure and all are lvl7. I got a gengar and lapras like that without fighting misty or anything just

@OUSOONERSFTW First, there is no other way to get 96 masterballs becasue you are alotted 1 per game...but if you restart ur game alot of times and trade a poke holding the masterball over to a different game they could collect over time-if your that patient. #2 Maybe! #3 missingNo. messes eveything up every way. Yea...again MissingNo. messes everything up regardless. #4 ask him #5 catching and encountering it has many effects that vary with a bunch of different stuff.

Very good technique, but have you heard of the missing no? Oh, and what is the Gs code because I heard you can walk through walls by poisoning a pokemon and leaving the safari. You have to jump right of the ledge when the bell rings and you can walk through walls. I never tried it though but the missing no has SERIOUS side effects.
