I haven't played the server in months, but this was my experience: The script was phenomenal, seriously, by far it had the best RP script I had seen on GM. Everything worked well, the items worked great, different roles worked, the ultimate joining was awesome. Then I came across the community, that's my only issue. It wasn't that they were bad, but you could tell the majority were only 8-12 years of age. Things like not understanding basic rp terms, and things of that nature.Has this changed?

@TevinxD RP atmosphere based off of first film which has a satirical and gun-ho view in terms of the Military. The board game/novel is something similar like warhammer. It's expected right after boot camp if ordered to hold your ground, you'll hold it and take every bug with you. That's the Trooper mentality, they're space marines and anyone not able to fit their standard of "hardcore-ness" ends up as a washout or some low Fleet position.

All you people do is camp in a corner with your overpowered, no recoil machine guns and wait for people to come past you, either that being a litte bitch jumping around with a sniper trying to get "360 No Scopes" And those "killstreeaks" are only earned by idiots that use no tactics, run around by themselves, continued.
@burken123 2nd part, and sit in a corner with them little computers that control missiles. On SST RP you can do all those "killstreaks" except in a realistic way. Having to call in a support ship, also once downed/knocked out you have be dragged into cover by a medic and revived. So you are more careful and more realistic on this, valuing your life more. You also have limited ammo, which leads to more realistic fights. Not just some dumbasses spraying around with their over powered machine guns.

@likablebears since we switched box and we melted our HDD, the server is online and recoding some things as well as working on a new content pack. Check forums for updates, we're relaunching soon enough.
All regular and new players are informed that the server is only active for missions on specific peak hours of days and on the weekend. Every regular have somewhere else to RP at or play other games; because we've stated that this isn't a 24/7 populated server.
Seems like you either don't use the forums to know when people are playing via the shoutbox or don't have the attention span required to step up to the not-so-hard-level of semi-serious roleplay.
I play the server and was part of this video i just only wish we could do things that big more it was really good fun and i agree with alot of people there is to much passive time ur lucky if u get 1 or 2 events a week at weekends plz put more training and events on plz :(
Hello, for those of you who know me, Im spamodamm. I am a menber of Epsilon Community, who hosts this server. I personally vouch for this game, because, Im just downright addicted to this server.
@ShrimpPalooza Check out the forums/site for info- because we're pretty content heavy right now. This friday is when we're doing a large update with lots of new stuff- otherwise we're generally not a 24/7 active server. Maybe 4-6 hours a day since most members switch between our ZRP and other Communities. Or Work/Classes.
This promo is pretty fucking unreal, great work with the clips and editing etc
However this honestly doesn't do the server justice, where you spend 95% of your time playing shitty passive roleplay getting told to stand guard for bugs which won't come, because it's passive. The admins frequently tell me to get off the server if i don't like it passive, so i feel the same right to tell them that this videos content is a load of bullshit considering it's not passive either.
If you want constant npc spawning; play singleplayer or Obisdian Conflict- otherwise we expect players to be on an already acknowledged roleplay level to the point where when there is passive roleplay going on- they can further develope their character social standings/backstory with other players much like in a movie. I don't think you grasp the full concept of roleplay when you say passive is shitty (oxymoron)- which implies you come from some degree of "fake" roleplay. (Dark RP).
I think what he means is , if there were more events like training excersizes or something , then it might be easier to get around the passive roleplaying , cause then youd have to do , cause when players have too much passive roleplay the chance that someone bursts in and starts off on all sorts of moronic things theres a big chance that the entier session goes to bits .

This promo is pretty fucking unreal, great work with the clips and editing etc
However this honestly doesn't do the server justice, where you spend 95% of your time playing shitty passive roleplay getting told to stand guard for bugs which won't come, because it's passive. The admins frequently tell me to get off the server if i don't like it passive, so i feel the same right to tell them that this videos content is a load of bullshit considering it's not passive either.

If you want constant npc spawning; play singleplayer or Obisdian Conflict- otherwise we expect players to be on an already acknowledged roleplay level to the point where when there is passive roleplay going on- they can further develope their character social standings/backstory with other players much like in a movie. I don't think you grasp the full concept of roleplay when you say passive is shitty (oxymoron)- which implies you come from some degree of "fake" roleplay. (Dark RP).

I think what he means is , if there were more events like training excersizes or something , then it might be easier to get around the passive roleplaying , cause then youd have to do , cause when players have too much passive roleplay the chance that someone bursts in and starts off on all sorts of moronic things theres a big chance that the entier session goes to bits .
Pretty much seen it happen all the time when i tryed to play
