What happened with JK was both had different purposes in life: J should to stay to save the island and 'the world' and K should get Aaron reunited with his mom, Claire! None of them would be happy without doing what they were destined to do! And Kate stayed there till Jack was gone, she stayed there seeing him until the last second! Jack was the one who left because he knew he was a dead man and he had sth to do! Their ending was perfect!
@fedea82 I was thinking the same thing! But then I realize that Jack made Kate to understand that he is going to die in order to save the island, so it's better to Kate to see him alive for the last time rather than to watch him die!
@TeslaB612 No, he didn´t make her understand it. He just told her "go, and save Claire". Besides, if you love someone you don´t walk away when they are in danger.
