I'm just waiting for my new Fabia 1.4tdi to be delivered, but it had better do better than 60mpg. My old Fabia 1.9 sdi regulalrly did 68mpg and I once got 72mpg on a round trip of 130 miles at 60 mph. The measure was topped up tank, topped up again at the end of the trip.

i drove my veyron the other day and was surprised to have 40.4L/100 km...

i usually get 55-70L/100 km highway driving at 150 km/h at 2,200 rpm...

I have the 1.9TDI Skoda Roomster Scout (Sport package) and got 4.3 /100km over a distance of 410km

The car was fully loaded with a Packline 800ABS roofbox and studded winter tires!

These Volkswagen TDI enginens run on a small amont of juice... But the noise is terrible!

thats impressive! i have a new fabia with same engine and does 60miles per gallon (this is the UK) easily on long journeys. that is about 4.5 l/100km
