  • Thanks for the info Wayman29! Appreciate it -- may try to do the trip as early as April this year.

  • Hi Wayman -- really enjoy your video trip reports; this looked like a great trip. I have done Eshback to Smithfield a few times. I rented a canoe through Adventure Sports, so they also provided shuttle services. This winter I bought my first canoe and would like to do the Milford to Kittatiny trip. My question to you is this: what did you do for shuttle logistics?

  • @dannakano1 I had a buddy follow me down and I left my truck at Kittatiny, I signed in at the ranger station to let them know when I would be back and that the truck would be there. Then my buddy dropped me off at Milford. Lots of wind at Milford! LOL I have other videos up from my upper Delaware trip on my channel outsideal . Best of luck I know the trip will be fun for you!

  • Pretty my ex boyfriend phillip loves it his fav trip hes a tour uide

  • This is a great adventure ! I'm new in NJ. Could You tell me what are the rules of planning trip like this here? Do You have to report it somewhere. How about a camp fire, is it allowed ? Is Your canoe registered or not ?... Thnx !

  • @Bazanteria- From Milford Pa to Rt 80 is a national Park so they have places to camp. just bring the proper supplies and have someone pick you up at any of the many boat launches along the way, or you can park for about 7 dollars a day. You can camp at the may camp sites along the way. And they do let you build small fires. I just go back from an upper Delaware trip where there were no campsites so I had to rough it! the video is here: Upper Delaware River Trip 1:1 from my channel outsideal

  • hey man, im heading to the gap tomorrow, got any recommendations/locations of some good water holes for swimming? how about a nice spot to camp?

  • @OBAViJEST a good spot just before the huge bend in the river. awesome swim and fishing, campsites by the park service. There will be a huge rock .5 miles before the bend 90degree bend. water is like a pond there. It was a nice place. Best of luch. I just got back from an upper Delaware trip a few days ago. watch?v=Ptu_wfIjBlw

  • @wayman29 luck best of luck....lunch also ...lol

  • You biffed it in the intro it is the Milford Bridge not the Milton Bridge.

  • @sturoc0 LOL your right! I had no idea where I was ! Thanks!

  • I've thought of doing this too, but 3 days of the same scenery...i may need other stimulation. I've done rafting with Kittatiny Canoes for the better part of a day and at the end I was happy to drive home. Camping is nice, but the true excitement is at night and over the campfire. A companion or small group would be nice to talk with and share the experience. I guess you'd look forward to a good meal after the monotony of hours upon hours on the river each evening. Overall, I'm impressed.

  • @clock9ful I also want with kittatiny canoes, did you rock jump?

  • Aren't those cans at the beginning of the video, lined with plastic? Don't you have to burn them out before cooking with/in them!?

    Great vid!
