I love how "normal" "comom" citizens of Paris just keep walking and going on their lifes meanwhile the Germans are fighing a Uprising of Resistance XD
@ImperialGuard9001 Parisians are used to everything! Jean Yanne said in his memoirs that when he was shooting the funny movie "les chinois à Paris " (Chinese at Paris) in the 1970's, he had a scene with hundreds of chinese soldiers in a big store. He asked the cameramen to shoot the reaction of the regular constumer. They didn't care at all, and they pushed the fake soldiers to go shopping... Excuse my poor english.
Many years ago i visited Paris and climbed one of two German Panther tanks (marked with Lothringer-crosses, the symbol of the free France) standing as a memorial on a square (don't remember which one). Next time i went there, they were gone. Hopefully to some musem... The M 24's starring as Panthers in this movie have disguised hulls, but the turrets are not altered.
@YDDES in 1976 they were sent to Musée des blindés of Saumur ( Loire Valley) . They have been restored. One remained in Saumur, the other at Mourmelon (one of the largest training camp of the French Army).
Le Musée des blindés de Saumur is one of the best Tank Museum in the World with Kubinka (Russia), Aberdeen (USA) and Bovington (UK).
P.s : there are a lot of video on youtube on the musée des blindés of Saumur.
Amazing these tanks pass right in front of my house (place St-Michel). In the whole area, many buildings still hold the scars of 1944 bullets. And a few mini-memorials, a plaque and a tricolor bunch of flowers in memoriam of some guy who was killed there. Thousands of students and tourists pass by, hardly noticing.
The staged scenes are mixed with films from the real fight. American M24 Chaffe's starring as German Panthers. The most fantastic is how they could empty the streets in Paris to make this movie.
haha nazis sind so hobbylos xD der film ist so wtf Oo
