I just do NOT see Universal Studios as having the ablity to improve on the original AIRWOLF! The show had a 2.5 million dollar Bell 222 helicopter with $500,000 worth of modifications! Two very famous actors, Jan Michael Vincent and Ernest Bourgnine. Along with outstanding supporting actors such as David Hemmings, Alex Cord, Lance LeGault. Not to mention the awesome original theme music created by Sylvester Levay! Donald P. Bellisario created it... and should be involved in any big screen movie!

Have they ever made an episode series for 20000 leagues under the sea? Seems like that would be fun! Following the super scientist nemo and his crew on their riveting voyages through endless seas! Underwater cities, battles with men on the open ocean, sea creatures, aliens from above, sea floor treasures, and whatever. Lots of things to give it plot and purpose. It could be a lot like knight rider and airwolf, and a bit of macgyver. And some new crap thrown in for fun.

They made a show like that. It was callled Seaquest DSV and it bombed, unfortunately. But this show definitely needs to be made into a movie. Let the director that made Batman The dark knight remake it. He seems to have rebooted the Batman franchise, give him the same chance with AIRWOLF! ROAR!

I agree with both arguments.

Bringing the show back would be great, but I wouldn't trust anyone to get it right. I'd only say I'd like it back if Bellisario had 100% control over EVERY aspect of the show. ...and that they keep things like the screaming engines and the missile-mounted camera. ...and they avoid making it like Season 4! Otherwise, leave it well alone.

It would never be the same. The studio would not want to spend the money or have the liability of using a real helicopter. It would all be CG crap. The original series had the helicopter there. I agree, leave it be as it was so we can enjoy it.

Well, that's why I said full control to Bellisario. He would insist on real choppers. ...but that'll never happen. they'd just try and make it a cash-in on an immensely popular '80's classic. That's the bugger with not living in an ideal world. :/

The part after :57 can do without. It's probably due to poor editing.  Having said that, the audio quality through :56 is absolutely superb compared to the other Airwolf opening theme songs posted on Youtube. I will definitely use your audio.
