@BoSoxnation1972 I know that Neely was all good/great fighter but not excellent either. He still TKO'd Baumgartner. And he hung in there with Kocur i remember although Kocur seems to edged out him although he didnt land many or not at all but one grazing one. But Neely got a bad beating by Brashear but Brashear was Brashear = excellent master fighter who dominated the league a many years time FOR SUre, no matter what was his style but he was the boss. Excellent serie with Probert, draw.
@MrJuha82 Brashear's fight with Neely was after Cam came back on one leg, and Cam didn't fight anymore. Brash landed all the punches, but Cam was still strong enough to slam Brashear to the ice at the end. Brash just jumped Cam, tied up his left, and landed a bunch of short punches. He never hurt him.
Ask Carkner, McCrae, McGill, Baumgartner, Tiger Williams, or Chris Nilan if Cam was tough. By the way, Cam also scored a couple of goals in between his fights...check it out! lol
@BoSoxnation1972 It was clear beating by Brash but no ass beating either. Brash with great strategy ! Neely wanted to hugs with Brash and couldnt open up when Brash tied up him.
@MrJuha82 Again, Cam was no longer a fighter who had a bone brick in his leg. Neely in his prime, could hold his own with top tier fighters-but he was a 50 goal scorer, so he had to work on other things. After Ulf cheapshotted him, fighting wasn't a concern for him-WALKING WAS!
While Brashear was taking boxing lessons and working on fighting, Cam was doing rehab just trying to be able to skate. Brash would have still beaten Neely when Cam was in his prime, but it wouldn't have been so 1 sided.
@BoSoxnation1972 but if they would meet against each other in both guys prime-time(when Brash became perfect fighter and you see Neelys prime) so i am pretty sure that Brash would scored a clear win over Neely and in longer serie Brash would have been more a clear winner. Brash was excellent. Neely was more a powerforward who fought in thge games, not his first job but we can consider him a fighter either.
lindy fights like he coaches, does ok but just cant finish the job

@MrJuha82 That's what I said. Brashear would have still won, but it wouldn't have been such a 1 sided beating.
