I seen Roger Moore on two of my favourite James Bond movies. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and 'For Your Eyes Only.' But I never saw him on 'The Muppets Show.' He looks pretty handsome in the 1970's and 1980's. But now, he's got glasses on, but I still like him. He's still the third indestructable James Bond.
I also like that he said that he purposely played Bond in a light-hearted way, sort of for the laugh always. He amusingly would raise his eye-brows when a one-lin deadpan was coming. He was quoted as saying that any spy who is greeted in every bar with his favorite drink is probably not a good spy. But then in real life, he did do intelligence work for the British government, along with Christopher Lee; when asked about it, they say, "Can you keep a secret?" "So can I."
This episode proves that you should always ask your guest star beforehand what they want to do on your show so you accommodate their requests instead of planning things out before hand without their knowledge.
If Kermit had just called Roger up before the show started and asked him what he wanted to do, then the Frog wouldn't have gone ahead with planning that whole Bond number, and those spies would never have shown up at the theater in the first place...
