Let's see... when a Jrpg is released in japan it's on ps3 or wii... it gets put on 360 for it's US release (odd but Ok..) when an american or european company makes an RPG (aside from Oblivion) they build it on the 360 then do a half assed port to the PS3 (see two worlds 2)

Ahhh final fantasy 7, good memories, sad that the big grab in the ff series was the most poorly translated example: ( in the scene where they decide to save aries they accidentally call her marlene., not to mention the ultimate boss (ruby) could be beaten with a few stuns :( at least the bosses in the more modern series aren't susceptible to status effects.

there r many ps3 jrpgs released only in japan, taiwan and hong kong. some of them r actually decent. but first u need to know japanese or other asian languages lik chinese. im glad that my chinese and watchin sub animes help me understand some japanese. i just preorder tales of vesperia and tears to tiara gaiden online recently.

I think XIV is gonna suck because I hate FF Online. Vs. XIII is just all graphics no other qualities. WKC is a game I'm keeping an eye on. Very cinematic trailer.

The graphics is probably the only quality this game has. Even though XIII looks prettier. Hopefully ToV PS3 will come to NA. (PS2 Symphonia is a Japanese Exclusive). But I'm not really that excited about it. I'm more into Tales of Graces for Wii. And probably after Graces, the next Mothership title will probably be exclusive for PS3.

Im playing Enchanted Arms on my PS3 right now.

I have played many jrpgs in my life and so far EA is one of the best jrpgs i have ever played.

It got a awesome story, really lovable characters that you love and care about and a really fun fighting system.

Everybody that wants a really awesome jrpg for there PS3s i strongly recomend should try Enchanted Arms.

I hope there will be more jrpgs on the ps3 soon because jrpgs is my favorite kind of games.

Enchanted Arms is a really fun and great rpg with really lovable characters and a great engaging story.

And like i said before a very fun fighting system.

I think "true" Final Fantasy fans would get Ps3, Since FF13 Versus is exclusively for the Ps3, along with other great rpgs in the future such as Star Ocean 4 (Exclusively for Ps3) and Kingdom Hearts 3. Although, recommending people to get 360 (if you're an rpg fan) for the time being wouldn't be a bad idea, since the only good rpg I see for the Ps3 as of now is Eternal Sonata.

PS3 doesn't have any JRPG's for 2 reasons.

1.) Since the release of the XBOX 360, gamers havn't been gamers, they have been shooter loving, swearing 10 year olds. JRPG's won't sell, so developers have to create mindless generic crap to keep the socially backward pricks happy.

2.) Microsoft are the greedy type, they like to throw money at people to sabotage the opposition, so in other words Microsoft throws millions at developers so the PS3 loses JRPG's and sales.

nice theory to bad its wrong. the ps3 does have jrpgs. i you check the official japanese playstation website you would see that there are a couple of rpgs that never came to america. Disgea 3 is a good jrpg that came to america and is only $50. the reason the japanese didnt make didnt make games for the xbox was cuz the dont like the xbox. both the wii and ps3 outsell the 360 in japan. What you see in america is not where near the amount of game there are for the ps3 in japan.
