  • Euphoniums have a conical bore and baritones have a cylindrical bore. Forbes certainly writes great stuff. If you haven't heard him play check out a TE quartet called 'Sotte Voce'. Mike's also done some stuff with Demondre Thurmond which is outstanding. Had the very good fortune to take from Mike for @ two years; an absolute joy.

  • Euphonium is not a fancy name for baritone horn. They are different instruments! Baris have a narrower bore.

  • Love this stuff. It reminds me of a lonely astronaut staring out into the far reaches of space, while drifting about on an asteroid.

  • Once again, great stuff. (old comment got deleted for some reason)

  • Thanks!

  • Tubas Rule!

  • Yeah, buddy!

  • Reynolds, is the small tuba Yukiko plays, 'a baritone horn?' That's what I used to call it. Euphonium must be the 'fancy' name for it, yes? :)

  • The concert band version of this song was written by Mike Forbes for my school, with our names on it. I'm in love with this version.

  • Thanks for watching.
