I was told by an enlightened monk that late Ven Ananda Maithriya thero is now in a state simalar to Gandhabbha and still looking for a womb to be born. He is said to have many requirements on his next life (one of those is he would like to be born to a family that would grant him to take the robes early in the childhood). Please when you do something good, do a "Sathyak Kriya" encouraging and inviting him to born sooner because we need hugely powerful someone to unite Sangha and people now.
