Nickelodeon was not the network responsible for this show. It originally aired on ABC and was a part of their TGIF Friday lineup. Once she made the transition to college, the back then WB now CW, bought it out. That's when this theme song came about.

Watching the seasons again now. atm I'm at season 3. I was pretty young when the show was on TV, but I remember how sad I was, when there was no aunts and no Harvey, though the final episode was pretty :D.

The show of Sabrina was really wonderful. Unfortunately the show filming was finished a lot years ago. But we never forget ! Sabrina, Salem, Zelda, Hilda and all the characters stay in our hearts!

The reason they got rid of the aunts is because the lady who plays aunt hilda quit the cast. So she was counted as a special guest in the last episode

Caroline quit because of the demands of her talk show, Beth left because she felt that she had done all she could with the character of Zelda. Both knew the show was changing and were ok with it. The producers actually petitioned Archie Comics to let them change the name of the show to just Sabrina, but they said no. So even past polor ratings and if memory serves, a bad time slot, the show would have ended soon regardless since she would no longer be considered "teenage"d.
