Landen's CDH Journey

my daughter paige was borned on march 30th, 2007 with left sided cdh. the doctors were amazed how well she was doing since she was 4pds 2ounces. she brings smiles to us everyday.

This brought back SO many memories for me. Caiden was born April 25, 2010 with left sided CDH. My husband was in afghanistan at the time and we also had no idea he had CDH until hours after he was born. I look at him everyday and thank God that he is here with us. He reherniated the week of thanksgiving and had emergency surgery to repair it again.

I wish there was more information on this defect.

But that was seven months ago and I am pleased to report that he is very well now (touch wood) is a happy and healthy little boy!!

My son Danny born with CDH on 04-25-09 and he is ok now , thank you god !

my nephew was born on wednesday with this - it has affected me badly - i'm drinking and smoking heavy

I'm so glad that Landen's story is of survival... my oldest daughter was also born with CDH and not a day goes by that I don't thank god she's still here... Landen is absolutely adorable!!!

My son Payten was born with CDH Jan.14th 2007 and has done amazing!!! What a special little one you have!

Landen is so cute, special and lucky. My cousin and his wife had a son born with CDH in Aug. 2006 and died in Feb. 2007. He spent his entire 6 months in the NICU. CDH babies really are special and they change your life forever. Don't forget to tell everyone about CDH Awareness Day March 31, 2007. Good Luck.
