  • Ive been up again all night, it sucks I've been trying to find what it is. thank you. they only way i get relief is to sedate myself with my anti anxiety meds. I hate doing that. have you been able to find something that works. I cant get my doc to take me seriously.

  • @gretchencazares Honestly my advice would just to be keep trying. Find a doctor who will listen to what's going on and try to figure out what it is. I don't sedate myself with anti-anxiety meds because I am not prescribed any meds for anxiety I guess....But I really hope someone helps you soon.

  • BOOBS BOOBS BOOBS!!!!!! XP

  • If you feel the seizure try one thing. Try not to follow or chase the feeling. You know the feeling and you know whats going to happen. So think of something you love doing and DON'T chase the feeling. AcE

  • @acetsar1 Thanks....I don't chase the feeling or anything I keep on with whatever I was previously doing unless it is something that could really harm me and I get in a safe position....But thank you for the advice....Learned that I am complicated and I deal with it day to day and it's just life. :)

  • I have a very stupid question, after my seizures i have epilepsy but my seizures seem bigger lately even though i am medicated. I also have an auto immune disease both just recently diagnosed. My question is embarrassing but i have to ask. Do others have to pee right after, Because after i regain my use of arms and legs again i always have to pee immediately.

  • @alamidblackcat Yes after I have a complex partial or a grand mal or clusters of seizures in general I end up needing to use the bathroom like "immediately"

  • @alamidblackcat there is no stupid ? about the condition we have i also have had that same problem and many more i am 31 had it since i ways 3 years old stay strong

  • you can't swallow your tongue!!! that is an old wise tale

  • some one should be with her, she should be put on her side in case she swallows her taunge. VERY dangerious to be left on her own.

  • @bestrickie2 ummm thank you but my grandma and little cousin (3 yr old) were asleep when this happened....also with the way our tongues are attached you cannot swallow it only have it block your airway. I have had way worse seizures than this but thank you very much for your concern. I had many seizures in this clip. I was aware for part of it but couldn't control them and felt safer on floor than in my bed. I didn't think to turn on my left side though I know I should have. Ty again....

  • how did you knew you was going to have a seizure?

  • @monjanse I had already had some simple partials and myoclonic seizures but felt like something was really off and had a simple partial start that didn't want to go away so finally decided to turn on webcam.

  • oh my gosh. that is a horrible thing to live with. I hope you are okay. Do they hurt and can you remember what happens during your seizure. I think it is an epileptic one because of they way you shoke and fell to the floor. What do your parents or teachers do when you have a seizure in class/at home. how do they stop it? thanks and bless you

  • @sexymercurialvapor I take online courses for college so my teachers only have to help me occasionally if I miss a deadline for an assignment....as for when these happen at home my grandma usually calls 911 and I go to hospital if they don't stop after 5 mins....sometimes she calls before then if they are really bad (i.e. I throw up during some of them and clench my teeth so good chance of aspiration. I don't remember the grand mal part of the seizure and usually sleep for hours afterwards and

  • feel like I have been run over by a truck. I sometimes remember bits and pieces of what happens right before the grand mal but not always...So usually I end up in ER and have been given usually 2 doses of versed on way to hospital to try and stop the seizure(s). Last October I actually ended up in ICU due to a very similar seizure and was on a ventilator for 24 hrs....thankfully that has not happened as of yet this year and hopefully it won't.

  • @SalemRose88 you are a trooper. i have seizures too but i throw up a lot in mine and it gets really painful. can you help me please? or get someone to help me?

  • @sexymercurialvapor during my grand mals I tend to throw up now didn't use too but I am never aware until after seizure is over of any pain.....what can I help you with?

  • I am sorry to say this, but even without the EEG i can tell you that this is likely not a seizure. Maybe your EEG revealed some abnormalities that looked epileptiform, maybe you have a real epileptic tendency, but episode like the one one this video is not seizure. Please try to recognize the difference and try to stop doing these.

  • @Pawlaroid What do you mean try to stop doing these???? I was aware during first part of video but most of this entire video I was unware and woke up with carpet lines on me.....so I must have been laying there quite a while.....I have had difficult to interpret EEG's....I am currently applying for SSI and even my epileptologist says I have seizures and non-epileptic seizures but we don't know if the grand mals I have are epileptic or non-epileptic yet as I haven't had one of them while....

  • @Pawlaroid actually being hooked up to an EEG whether it be routine or Video-EEG done as inpatient in hospital....I am not allowed to work because my seizures interefere with my life.....and this is similar to the seizure that put me in ICU last October from what my grandmother has told me...I was on a ventilator for 24 hours because every time they tried to bring the sedation down some I started seizing....I seized on and off for 5 and 1/2 hours even though the ER was trying to medicate me....

  • Thus why I ended up in ICU...I left the hospital with superficial blood clots in my right arm and having difficultly breathing but due to the GRACE of God I had no permanent damage to my brain.....So I ask again what do you mean TRY to STOP doing these???

  • I know what u r going through. hang in there

  • @plushbanana Thank you I will....I was originally diagnosed with Epilepsy but now after 3 Video-EEG's that diagnosis has been different three different times...I have no definitive diagnosis only the supposition that I have both epileptic and non-epileptic seizures (possibly conversion disorder). I was supposed to have a 4th video EEG last week from Monday to Friday but wasn't able to get things worked out. Thanks for your comment....Kayla you take care

  • @SalemRose88 I have had 2 video-EEG's. they all said conversion disorder. but I think I have Epilepsy too. I'm sorry about you not able to go to your EEG. Hugs Kayla

  • i have got some questions : 1. How are these seizures called?2: Do they hurt? 3:Are you able to speak normaly at that moment?

I am sorry for you and thankful if you would answer!

  • @lhohneklab 1. I guess this would be called a secondarily generalized tonic clonic though it started as myoclonic seizures. 2. I am not aware during it so technically no it doesn't hurt it is the after-effects that hurt. 3. I am completely unaware even though my eyes are open as to what is going on so no I cannot speak.

  • @SalemRose88okay i understand thanks for answering! and i hope you are doing fine now!!

  • @lhohneklab You're welcome....If you have any other questions just let me know....

  • watchin this jus breaks my heart, becuz i really was hopeing u woulda gotten better, but this was jus two weeks ago...and this is the worse i ever seen u.

    hope ur fine now,

  • @Batistamaniac1 I am doing so-so....This was made two days before my mom was hit and killed....Her funeral was Dec. 9th and I had a grand mal Dec. 8th. Things aren't as bad as they could be but I am on very little medication for my seizures at the moment because my Keppra wasn't really helping. I hope you are doing well.

  • @SalemRose88 well im so so,im makin more videos then i ever have, and now im jus idk, blah,i guess u can say

  • It's amazing that you are recording these video's. I think that you are very brave.

  • @DavidEpilepsy Thank you for thinking I am brave.....

  • It's looks like what you said it was, now that I have watched the video all the way to the end. How many EEGs have you had?

  • @Divinechaos1985 I have had like 5 or 6 routine EEG's, 1 Ambulatory EEG, and 3 Video-EEG's.

  • @SalemRose88 I had my first EEG (20 min-outpatients) this Friday. That's the reason I asked.

    Thanks for replying. :)

  • @Divinechaos1985 Hope you get the information you are looking forward.

  • @SalemRose88 I hope I do too.Have you experienced deja vu of a deju vu, if that makes sense? Like a deja vu that is more than just a singular momentary dejavu to the point where you start to think that chunks of your life have been lived before like you are caught in a time loop?

  • @Divinechaos1985 I have never really had much problem with Deja Vu

  • @SalemRose88 Okay. :)

  • I didn't watch the entire video when I made that myoclonic comment. I watched the first 2 and a half minutes.

  • @Divinechaos1985 And what do you think of it now?

  • myoclonic?
