If i wanted a giant Ipod touch. i would get an ipad. dont get me wrong an incredible product i mean there is a reason every comparison is against it, but for me you are way to closed in. apple fan boys have to get over apps and that they started tablets and admit that they have now been caught up to and succeeded in some if not most areas. sorry boys hate to do this apple but flash? ohhh ya to bad. micro hdmi, usb? shitty. Android plus motorola = orgasmic. love everything about it over the ipad

The Xoom would be slightly slower as it has to load the geekanoids website from scratch. By having the website bookmarked on the ipad, the ipad would have some cache or cookie memory of the website such as layout, colours etc. For a really browser test load up a page that none of the tablets have been on at all! Do a rematch!

@collegekid805 What are you talking about? He clicks it like an hour later look. Plus, he has it bookmarked. On the Droid, it has to find the IP. Because its bookmarked the IP address is already kept. On the Droid it has to call for it then go to it. That's why. He didn't do a fair comparison, but anyway it was good.

It's all about apps. If Android Tablets had the tablet optimized apps and my iPad 2 didn't, I would be using a Prime or something.

It is all about personal preference. Not being biased or anything but I just think android products are fore tech people who like to customize and spend their hours writing programs hacking etc. whereas apples iOS is for not techy people ( apple fanboys and android tech zealots) who don't have time to be concerned about the nitty gritty specs etc. neither one is better really. Again about preference. And b4 some says anything, I am an apple fanboy with a p.c. And android background primarily.

ipad 2 is running latest software version 5.0, xoom2 is running software version 3.2, wait till the latest icecream sandwich(4.0) comes out then you can fairly compare both devices.

can someone explaing to me the purpose of tablets....they r just oversized mp4 players technically......i have the XYboard 10......my friend has the ipad 2.....the ipad is awesome, but the UI is the shittiest i've seen.....i mean....it's just to simple, not that flexible...it's ugly as hell...but the device itself and the specs r awesome....better than the xyboard, but i love my UI.....so...guess it matter to ui.....atleast for me it does~

The camera on the xoom is far better than the one on the iPad 2. Compare 0.7 pixels with 5 mega pixels. In daylight the xoom 2's photos have less noise than it does indoors.
